The biatch shows up again..

edited March 2014 in Getting Pregnant
I am just a little bummed. I swore I was having symptoms and I really was thinking this was it... Heartburn, sick feeling, exhausted, dizzy here and there. Then this morning SHE shows up! Grrr, and it was such a short cycle too. On FF it had it starting today too, I was thinking it was too soon. 24 days is not normal for me. Anyways, I just wanted to complain a little bit. Just keep hoping this month is it... FX for next cycle... I also was wondering, what is fairly normal for the LP? Mine seems to range from 9 to 15, and I was just curious. Thnaks. xo

  • Sorry this wasn't the month.

LP should not really change much at all. Maybe by a day or two at most. If yours is ranging from 9-15 days, I don't think you're pinpointing O correctly.

    Also, what @LooneyLife said.

  • Can you link to your chart so we can stalk?  It would help to look.  Mine is usually 14 days exactly.  LP shouldn't really vary much.

  • My LP is 10 days without B6, 12 days with B6. It never wavers and they really shouldn't change at all without intervention.

  • ::popping in from GPM and lurking::

If you're temping and certain you're pinpointing O correctly, check the length of your LP over the next few months.  I noticed my LP had decreased from 11 days to 7 or 8 over the course of 5 or 6 months, and started Vitex to correct the problem.

:( I'm sorry. My LP was as short as 8 days and as long as 12. I did do some natural things to try to help, like Pom juice and pineapple core.

  • No, I'm not temping. I have been doing OPKs the past few months and charting those. The Clearblue Advanced. FF picks and decides when I O but its basically an estimate. But I thought it was a trip that it was so off, too. I am thinking about starting to temp, I am a little curious, but will need keep on it. Thanks ladies. :) xo

  • Without temping you don't know for sure when you ovulated and therefore you don't really know how long your LP is.

  • Boo, AF! I'm sorry. :(

My LP is normally 12-14 days, but they were shorter for a while after going off BCP. I actually had one (cycle 6ish off BCP) that was only 8 days long. The "standard" is 12-16.
