babies r us fail
So my SIL sent me a text to ask if I had recieved any shower gifts in the mail. I haven't.
apparently BRU has totally screwed up my registry and hasn't taken a single item off and so people have been buying multiples of things.
maybe not a bad thing for me so I can return and get what I really need and want since people typically buy 'cute' things and 'fun' gifts instead of necessities.
but it might be a little weird at my shower this weekend

I'm sure people will still bring cute things. People get things that aren't on the registry as well. Hope it goes well.
Our BRU registry worked out fine. It was our Target registry that wasn't taking any items off. We got a few multiples (jogging stroller, monitor, walker, umbrella stroller). It was a little awkward at the shower, but at the same time, people understand.
You could also mention, or have the hostess mention, at the beginning of the shower that BRU screwed up.
