so I finally met with the babysitter i've been drooling over and she is fantastic!
the only thing she said that gives me pause is that on Friday's they drive to the library. Its not that far of a drive, but someone driving my baby around gives me anxiety.
she is licensed and insured and has all of her state certifications and my friend that takes her son there has never had any issues.
what are your thoughts on this? I feel like she's safe, its just knowing Bear would be on the road at all that gives me anxiety. what the heck am I going to do when he's really here if i'm already having anxiety!!
I would leave my infant seat with her to use instead of letting her use one of her carseats.

I totally understand your worry. I was the same way until it became routine. My cousins older daughters both went to daycare with C for years before he got there and is she trusted the provider, I had no reason not to.
Plus she always always let me know if they were going somewhere beforehand.

I know I want her to take him on adventures. and I am going to be trusting her to watch, feed, rock, and soothe him. its just the unknowns of being in a car and that added chance of danger that freak me out.
he will be okay. Ben told me I was being silly and that we want him to explore and handle himself in public...which is true

I would have the same concerns about the car thing.
