1. How long do you plan to TTA?

Anywhere from 3 years to forever.

5. Favorite Movie?

It is hard to pick a favorite movie... I have so many. I really like Zoolander, Gone with the Wind, Much Ado About Nothing, Godfather/Godfather II... I think I could watch all of those over and over again!

6. What do you do for a living?

I am a Human Resources Specialist. I have done a lot of different HR things, but I am in Benefits currently at a large state agency.

7. Where are you from?

Seattle WA

8. Do you have any fur babies?

I have a cat named Autumn (american short hair tortoise shell) and a dog named Ling Ling (chinese shar-pei).

9. Has your TTC timeline changed over time? If so, why?

YES! When DH and I got married I always said we would have kids in 5 years... I said that every year! We finally started TTC when we had been married for about 8 years. I think we just weren't ready before that.

I always thought I would have two kids and I wanted to be done before 30. Now, I am 32 and I don't know. If we do TTC #2, likely I will be over 35 when PG, which would be hard on me. I had a high-risk PG with DS, so I know how hard it can be. I just don't know. I guess I will have to see how we feel in a couple years.

10. Favorite names for possible future children?

I love the names Margaret and Elizabeth for a girl, probably won't be able to use them. DH isn't crazy about Elizabeth (even though he agreed to it last time). I think Margaret is too close to DS's name (Martin).

I don't have a boy's name I am in love with, but I like Andrew or Alexander right now.

11. If/When you do have kids, what are you most looking forward to doing with them?

I am super excited about a possible trip to Disneyland. I like going to the zoo (my mom took us to the zoo a lot).

12. If you could pick any nursery theme/colors, what would you pick?

I have no idea! I thought I wanted a Peter Rabbit theme, but changed my mind. I like gender neutral themes with lots of sunny color.

13. What questions would you like to see next time?

No idea :-)

1. How long do you plan to TTA? At least until late May/early June 2015 (depending on what my rheumatologist says when I see him this May)

2. What methods are you using to TTA? Mirena

3. How do you feel about TTA? It has it's days. I get by by lurking on GPM.

4. Favorite TV Show (of all time and a current one)?

All-Time: Star Trek: Voyager, Home Improvement

Current: Vikings, The Voice, Downton Abbey

5. Favorite Movie? The Island

6. What do you do for a living? I'm an engineer for an environmental company - I do a lot of soil/water cleanup of military bases and EPA sites.

7. Where are you from? I was born in KY, and lived in various places before my family "settled" in Northern VA when I was 10. Aside from college and 3 years in FL, I've been here ever since.

8. Do you have any fur babies? A dog, Jasper. A full-blooded Beagle. The sweetest, quietest Beagle I have ever encountered. (His picture is in my signature.)

9. Has your TTC timeline changed over time? If so, why? Yes. When DH & I originally started dating, he was at 5+ years for kids. After we were married, he changed to 3 years, and then, in the past 2 months, he changed to 1.5 years. I knew I wanted to wait at least a year, but I told him no more than 5, mostly because of my age. I didn't want to push any specific timeline on him, though. He changed his own mind.

10. Favorite names for possible future children? For a girl: Aurelia Katheryn (middle name a combination of DH & I's mother's names). For a boy: Benjamin Claude (DH & I's father's names).

11. If/When you do have kids, what are you most looking forward to doing with them? I love the idea of reading and singing with them. And discovering new things with them. Mostly, the cuddling.

12. If you could pick any nursery theme/colors, what would you pick? Probably a nautical/sailing theme in honor of DH's dad (he passed before DH & I met).

13. What questions would you like to see next time?

1. How long do you plan to TTA? Probably another year or two

2. What methods are you using to TTA? Charting/FAM

3. How do you feel about TTA? Meh. I nanny a two-year-old who reminds me both of why I want kids and why we're waiting. It's tough sometimes, but mostly I'm happy with it.

4. Favorite TV Show (of all time and a current one)?

All-Time: Dexter

Current: HIMYM

5. Favorite Movie? This changes all the time...Fight Club is a good classic for me, though.

6. What do you do for a living? I'm a grad student in mathematics. Hopefully graduating next summer and getting a tenure-track professorship at a university starting fall '15. FX!

7. Where are you from? I was born in CA and lived there through college. Now DH and I live in IN, but we'll probably move somewhere else next summer.

8. Do you have any fur babies? Two cats: a 3.5-year-old white-chested orange tabby named Apollo, and a tiny (5-6 lb!) 3-year-old tortie named Artemis.

9. Has your TTC timeline changed over time? If so, why? Yep. When we first decided on a timeline last spring, we we planning to start a couple months from now. Then in November we decided to throw a bunch of our savings at DH's student loans, so we're going to need several more months to get to where we want to be financially.

10. Favorite names for possible future children? We have no idea for a boy, but DH has named our hypothetical first daughter Alethea (which is the Greek word for truth), and I have agreed on the condition that it be Alethea Michelle. We would (maybe?) call her Ally.

11. If/When you do have kids, what are you most looking forward to doing with them? I love cuddling and reading with babies/kids. But perhaps more than that, I'm looking forward to the excitement of seeing all the milestones happen: first roll over, first time crawling/walking, first word, then they start stringing together 2-3 words, and sentences. I'm always amazed, and it's never even been my kid!

12. If you could pick any nursery theme/colors, what would you pick? Probably something boring. DH is the decorator around here.

13. What questions would you like to see next time? hmmm... I'm liking the "would you rather" questions lately. Maybe a couple of those?

- BPC, but plan to switch to FAM at some point.

- I'm wildly jealous of my friends with kids, but unless the placenta is actually filled with $100 bills, we need to wait a while longer.

- Yep, it just keeps getting pushed back, as it turns out to be much more difficult for me to get my shit together than what I had anticipated when I was younger.

Some answers below are PR/BR. Not sure if I need to label this, but I figured I would just in case.

1. How long do you plan to TTA? For now at least until the new year, then we will re-evaluate and go from there.

2. What methods are you using to TTA? Condoms and FAM (but only sometimes because DH isn't super comfortable with this method, I still keep a chart though)

3. How do you feel about TTA? Some days I wish we were TTC, others I am okay with TTA forever....I mainly lean toward TTC again though by no later than the end of next year. I really want DD to have a sibling.

4. Favorite TV Show (of all time and a current one)? I love Grimm, Walking Dead, Once Upon a Time, Raising Hope.

5. Favorite Movie? Airplane and all Disney movies.

6. What do you do for a living? I am a SAHM.

7. Where are you from? California

8. Do you have any fur babies? Three dogs, a Jack Russell mix (5 yrs), Chihuahua mix (4 yrs) and a German Shepherd mix (2 yrs).

9. Has your TTC timeline changed over time? If so, why? When we were pregnant, DH wanted to TTC at the year mark. When she was born, he didn't want any more. Now we've decided to just "play it by ear" and just re-evaluate every year until we decide one way or another. We only want one more if we decide to TTC again.

10. Favorite names for possible future children? Future DD or DS would be Elizabeth or Thomas. I would love to use the name Johanna, but DH is adamant against "Jo" names, because he doesn't want that as his potential DDs nickname. Sigh. I still love Elizabeth though. Maybe he will let me use Johanna as a mn...

11. If/When you do have kids, what are you most looking forward to doing with them? I can't wait to take DD to Disneyland, the zoo, the fair, etc. I can't wait to see her really interact with the world around her.

12. If you could pick any nursery theme/colors, what would you pick? DD's nursery is purple and brown with pink accents and owls/elephants. If I had another girl, I would love to do a pink/green nursery. For a boy, I love green/blue nurseries. I'm not sure on themes for either. I would probably let DH decide since I picked out the majority of DDs nursery decor.

13. What questions would you like to see next time? How many kids do you want? How far apart? When/how would you announce your pregnancy? What is your dream job? The questions so far have been great.

We have given ourselves a 3-10 year plan. We may be one and done or we might have another 10 years from now.

Good. Our family is complete at least for now.

And not really a fur baby but we have a Beta fish named Blue

9. Has your TTC timeline changed over time? If so, why?
Yes. I always thought I wanted 3 before 30 and DH wanted 2 kiddos before 30. Now we are entertaining the idea of one and done or having up to ten years between the two (putting me over 30). Never thought we would change as much as we have.

10. Favorite names for possible future children?
Kinley for a girl
Silas for a boy
I love the name Winslow for either but I think it may be too strange.

11. If/When you do have kids, what are you most looking forward to doing with them?
Right now I am excited to go swimming with her this summer, for her to start preschool, and just in general watch her learn and understand the world around her.

12. If you could pick any nursery theme/colors, what would you pick?
I really like yellow and gray and chevrons but I don't know. I haven't thought about it much. I think if we have another then Ava Nichol will be old enough to give her input and I would love to pick stuff with her and DH.

Late to the party

1. How long do you plan to TTA? 3 cycles and then back at it, having the 1 cycle right now!

2. What methods are you using to TTA? Condoms

3. How do you feel about TTA? Today, I am fine with it. I need to loose some weight before we start trying.

4. Favorite TV Show (of all time and a current one)? Boy Meets World, Pretty Little Liars

5. Favorite Movie? Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

6. What do you do for a living? Office Assistant for Non-profit charity

7. Where are you from? Northwestern Ohio

8. Do you have any fur babies? Yes, shar pei/shepard mix, about 2 years old named Breezy

9. Has your TTC timeline changed over time? If so, why? Yes, after the m/c we thought 3 cycles and back to it, having to have the d&c pushed it back.

1. How long do you plan to TTA?

another 3-6 months- depending on how quickly we get unpacked and settled in the new house and can start saving more money towards a baby fund. And keeping in mind we want to go on a cruise in Dec so not wanting to be too pregnant for that.

meh- I'm used to it by now I guess, but I'm not getting any younger. I'll be 33 in July

I am the lead teacher in an infant room in a day care as well as a supervisor in the office at the day care

Originally from Alberta, Canada, but now living in upstate NY

nope, not yet. We just got the house, so hopefully in the late Spring/ early Summer we'll get a rescue dog- I'm really leaning towards a pit bull. DH and I are both allergic to cats

9. Has your TTC timeline changed over time? If so, why?

Yes- mostly due to just not being financially and spatially ready- I've wanted to be a mom forever (since I was 12), but we want to make sure we have space for them- my H had lived in the apt for 20 yrs, so he had cluttered up every inch of the space. Now, we are in a nice big house with a great yard and great school district for future babies, so we just have to get settled in and take the plunge.

10. Favorite names for possible future children?

Nora Anna for a girl, I also like Brielle Elizabeth. Boys names are much harder. There are so many I like, but none I have settled on yet. I like Theodore Jasper (TJ or Teddy for short) I also like Samuel Arthur (named for both our grandfathers)

11. If/When you do have kids, what are you most looking forward to doing with them?

OMG everything- lol- taking them camping, just watching them discover the world around them.

12. If you could pick any nursery theme/colors, what would you pick?

I'm really thinking I want to do a What Does the Fox Say theme. lots of pics of baby animals with sayings (cow goes moo, duck goes quack, fish goes blub) and a large cartoonish picture of a fox. with a green color pallet and forrest themed bedding.

13. What questions would you like to see next time?

fave quick and easy dinner, fave musical, fave ride or attraction at an amusement park
