Who else saw it already?

I had to take Madison first thing last night.  I will fully admit I went into it with LOW expectations. As much as I loved Divergent, I don't rank this series very high because of Insurgent and Allegiant. So it is an "Eh?" movie for me.

Wow! I was impressed! It was so much better than I thought it would be.  I thought it was actually a really good adaption of the book!  I was with a friend who doesn't read (the horror!) and she liked it too! I am always curious if these movies translate well to people who don't already know the story. But she thoroughly enjoyed it!


Of course there were differences but they didn't bother me at all.

So...anyone else have thoughts?

    I haven't seen the movie, but your IG pictures killed me.  Madison is a TEENAGER!  She's beautiful and looked so grown up!

    Aww thanks @julie37619! It's killing me how big she has gotten! Like real tears!

    Originally it was just she and I going- then one of my friends wanted to take her daughter and it turned into this whole group thing. They had a blast.
    They were 6 fangirling tweens that's for sure!  They all cried! It was hysterical.

    Just go in expecting bad acting and a crappy story (which was what I did). Then you may be surprised.

    I went in with low expectations and was impressed! There were a few scenes missing that I wished had been in there and I felt like the ending was a little rushed but otherwise liked it!

    Shailene Woodley and Theo James did a great job.

    I didn't like it. I went with a friend who hasn't read the book, and she really enjoyed it. The acting was good and Theo James was amazing eye candy, but I just found it lacking.

    I went last night and thought it was great!  I had pretty low expectations, but I was really happy with the movie.  Theo James is hot.
