Bomb Threat
There were 2 unspecified bomb threats against the Smyrna School District this morning. They evacuated and sent home all students. But of course my kids school is not a part of the actual district and are still in session. Please tell me Im not crazy for having my SIL go pick him up anyway. They have missed so much school, but people are fucking crazy anymore and I dont want to take the risk. I have to be out of my office for the next 3 hours and I dont want to have to worry about my kid getting blown up somewhere he should always be safe.

1st, no you're not crazy at all.
2nd, good!! there is no reason to take a chance and leave those kids in school

Warner Elementary had a bomb threat last year while my kid was at school. I was in a meeting, so I didn't get to take the call, but I FREAKED OUT when I finally got the robo message. He was half day then, so he was home by the time I found out about it.
