  I only had the HSG done at the RE's, but any testing I had done at the OBGYN (like bloodwork and u/s) ended up being redone at the RE.

  I did my HSG with the RE and all my bloodwork was re-done by the RE. 
  
  If you are wavering between staying with the OB and doing testing or moving on...just move on. You'll thank me later.

  My RE redid the bloodwork, mainly because he wanted even more information. The SA and HSG were not redone. Well, my HSG was but not because I moved to the RE but because it failed the first time. He said he would have accepted the results if the HSG had been done within 3-6 months.

  I'm going to agree with @aimothy.  We are now needing to move to an RE and know all of the testing will need to be re-done.  I wish we would've just started with the RE to begin with.

  I don't really see the point in doing ant of it with the OB. What comes after testing? Treatment, right? And for that you should be with an RE. Why not go to them and get the tests they want the first time around?

   TTC since May 2011, 1 year trying, and then 3 TI, 2 IUI = BFN

  IVF #1 (May 2013):  Antagonist Protocol: 
  24R, 18M, 15F w/ICSI; 5dt of 2 early blasts, no frosties = BFN
  IVF #2 (August 2013):  Lupron Stop Protocol:

  I agree with the other ladies. I wish I had just started with our RE as well. Starting with the OB was a waste of our time.

  I did not need a repeat HSG but I did have repeat bloodwork. I was only with the OB a few months before switching to the RE so I guess it was still recent enough that I didn't need another.

  Clomid 50-150mg- No Response

  Moved to RE October 2013

  Nov. 2013: IUI #1 Letrozole + Ovidrel = BFN

  Dec. 2013: IUI #2 Letrozole + Ovidrel= BFP on 1/8/2014 !! EDD 9/22/2014

  Beta #1 (12 dpo): HCG 27, Progesterone 15 (starting on supplements)

  Beta #2 (15 dpo): HCG 297, Progesterone 29

  Beta #3 (17 dpo): HCG 667, Progesterone 34

  1st Ultrasound 1/28 (6 weeks + 1) Baby measuring exactly as it should, HB 118!

  When I switched REs I got my full video and report of my HSG and emailed it to my new RE. Same with my blood work and hubby's SA. The new RE just wanted to redo the blood work.

  I don't really have much to add to what the PP's have already stated. My 2nd opinion RE did not repeat my HSG that was completed last year, but did re-do all of my blood work. I would think that if your OB already did labs, you could at least take them to your RE visit, and hopefully, he/she won't need to repeat anything (assuming that they were drawn in the last couple of months). I agree with @Aimothy though, if your contemplating between starting the process with your OB or moving onto an RE, I would definitely go the RE route. GL to you!

  My RE accepted my CD3 and Pelvic u/s because they were done within a month prior to my visit with the RE. So I do not have to redo them.
