I need you to tell me if I'm doing something inappropriate in the bathroom.
The women's bathroom in our office is divided into 2 rooms; the first just has a long counter and mirrors and the second is where the toilets and sinks are. Every afternoon, I go to the first section of the bathroom to put more moisturizer on my face. My desk is right under a vent and the constant flow of air is really drying out my skin. Anyway, without fail, anyone who enters the bathroom while I'm in the middle of moisturizing gives me what I can only describe as incredulous look. It's starting to bother me!
So...is what I'm doing wrong?!
Re: Work bathroom etiquette
do you apply moisturizer like you apply sunscreen? hahah
I'm sure what your doing isn't weird, other people are weird!

You are in a bathroom. Thats where that kind of stuff takes place. They should get the side eye for looking at you funny. Im not going to pretend that there arent days where I touch up my make up after lunch or whatever. Sometimes I do it at my desk, sometimes in the bathroom. Its no one elses bees wax what you are doing in there. I dont see anything wrong with what you are doing at all.
@philaphan - Nope, just my little bottle of moisturizer.
