Random lactation with Mirena IUD?
I haven't nursed my son in 2 years, and I've had the Mirena IUD for several months. This morning in the bath, I felt the familiar tingle of milk and sure enough, a little squeeze produced several drops from both sides!
I shouldn't be pregnant, so does anyone know why this may have occured? Anyone else spontaniously lactate years after nursing?
Sorry if TMI! Thanks for any info you may have...

WOAH! never been PG so no real answers for you. but I would have been freaked out! Hope you find out some helpful information...
OK, I googled it and galactorrhea (non-breast-feeding lactation) is a "less frequent" side effect of Mirena. http://www.medscape.com/druginfo/dosage?drugid=20420&drugname=Mirena+IU&monotype=default
So it was probably the Mirena. But if it were me, I would probably also check in with my doctor (at least mention it at my next annual appt) cuz it can also be caused by some other scarier things (like tumors), and i am paranoid when it comes to health stuff : )
