A proper thank you

DH's cousin I never met sent me all her cloth diapers when she heard I wanted to use cloth. She had to make the switch to biodegradables because of daycare and time. I offered her money for shipping and the diapers but was told they were a gift. How can I thank her? She saved me from the insanity I created for myself by sewing cloth diapers. I was so overwhelmed and now I can just use cloth with no worries. What would you do? I've thanked her already in text messages but want to do something more. Is a hand written thank you note enough?

Re: A proper thank you

  • A written note is always appreciated I think. If you don't think its enough, maybe a gift card for diapers or a date night? or flowers?  Something under 20 I think its enough.
  • I would say send a thank you note and maybe a gift card of a small amount for either a night out or groceries even! What a nice gesture though!

  • That's so sweet! I agree with hand written thank you card and a small gift card (amazon has everything :P) or maybe take them out to dinner. A little goes a long way :)
