I'm hooked guys.  I started it last night and finished a third of it.  I can't wait to read at lunch.  Elisa makes me feel all the feels!  My heart actually hurt when she made the conclusion about Alejandro and his mistress.  I want to give her more self esteem!  I'm looking forward to her coming in to her own.  I'm so unsure about how I feel about Alejandro and what his intentions were when he married her.  I hope the rest of the book is as good as part 1!

    Yay! I am glad you like it. I had to know what happens next and read all three within a week or so.
    It has such a different feel to it for a YA fantasy.

    Do we find out how old Alejandro is? He has a 6 year old. I mean, he could have been 14 or so when he married, but I'm trying not to be skeeved out by the age difference that I have in my head.  I know it can be different with royalty, but still.  Since nothing has happened yet, it's not bothering me too much, but if it does...

    Oh, that part made my heart hurt, too. I honestly thought he was semi into her. :( As for the age difference, I pictured him in his early-to-mid twenties.

    I was so sad when Humberto died and kept thinking the same thing. Somehow the godstone had to bring him back, but no. *sniffle*
