  Based on the other books on the list I'd recommend Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn.
  
  Where'd You Go Bernadette is on there though too and that was my first thought for this category. It was awesome.

  I was planning on Where'd You Go Bernadette, but if Sharp Objects work maybe I will do that one! I have been wanting to read it, just waiting for it at my library.
