tips

Does anyone have tips to ttc faster? Such as food, vitamins. Foods to eat or avoid etc being ttc about 5 months. Thanks for all your help in advance.

I've been eating them. Is that the wrong place to cram them?

Of course you eat them! The sperms can't get past them if you shove 'em where the sun don't shine.

I've recently started taking maca root in pill form. It's supposed to be helpful for those TTC, but I can't speak to that yet as I'm TTA for a few more months. I've read conflicting info on drinking green tea but I figure when the time comes it can't hurt, right? Might be worth a try. I think I've seen a few women on here or similar boards talk about pre-seed a type of lube that's "fertility friendly" whatever that means. Also may be worth checking out. Good luck!

  • Many ladies here often recommend reading Taking Charge of Your Fertility and charting your basal body temperature. Instead of doing that I read the information on the fertility friend website and decided to track cervical mucus. It was very helpful for me and allowed me to make sure we were using good timing. I even used that method to avoid getting pregnant before we were ready to start TTC. It turned out that I didn't ovulate when I would have expected. Having regular sex can help ensure you have good timing if you aren't sure. This time my cervical mucus isn't as clear so I decided to use ovulation predictors that I got from Amazon. If you decide to go that route make sure you understand how to read them properly. Good luck.

I could hold you for a million years
To make you feel my love.
  • Ditto what @backseatdriver said.  Pick up a copy of Taking Charge of Your Fertility. It will give you a better sense of what your body is doing.  Temping and charting will also let you know when in your cycle to try.
