Anyone else excited for the series finale tonight?
Re: HIMYM
For real though, I'm excited but I'm sad it's ending. I hope they end it right.
I heard that she is not dead, but of course they'll say that.
I like that Ted and Robin got to end up together in the end. I think they were good together besides that they wanted different things in life, but they both got to experience the things they wanted before being together.
hbatchel2 said - Ted & Robin both got what they ultimately wanted (he got the kids and she had a great career) and now they've found each other again.
The rest of it? Eh. I'm disappointed.
I liked how they wrapped up all the stories. I hated how quickly it went from the mother dying to "you should ask Aunt Robin out!" It was like 5 seconds! It was such a shock at first. That scene bugged me so much. I didn't know until later that they filmed the kids doing that part during season 2, but it was obvious to me that it was done in 2 different rooms because of the obnoxious way the camera went back and forth. I didn't think the kids' enthusiasm matched Ted's mood either. It felt so off to me.
I totally agree with @quirky75 on the scene with Ted and the kids jumping. They were super well lit and then Ted was almost in the dark. Very disorientating.
