HIMYM Series Finale (Spoilers)
So, I stopped watching a couple of seasons ago because I couldn't take it BUT i watched the finale last night.
I know a lot of people hated the fact the mother was dead and that he went back to Robin but it seemed fitting actually.
I legit was sobbing when Barney met his baby for the first time, OMG it was too sweet.
"He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion." - Unknown
Re: HIMYM Series Finale (Spoilers)
I made a point of watching last night. I didn't love it, but it wasn't the worst I've ever seen.
I did like Barney with the baby. I don't know I believe he's totally changed, but I imagine the baby will have a big impact on him.
I think this ending would have been a lot better a few seasons ago, before the whole Barney/Robin relationship ended in marriage.
I've watched all along, though I wasn't a fan of this season. It just felt like maybe it went on a season too long.
I didn't watch all of last night's episode (I was mostly watching The Voice), but I agree that it was disappointing. All of that build-up for what - a decade or more? - and the mother died? I almost felt like I was duped.
