I've only seen pieces at clients houses, but I don't get the hype. It's good, but not lose your shit good.

  • I haven't seen it yet.. I think the hype has kinda killed it for me already. I'll probably see it eventually, but I just have this feeling that it's been built up to be so AMAZING that it's going to disappoint me and fall short.

Same thing happened with Hunger Games. And Goonies. HG was ok, but not nearly as incredible as everyone made it out to be. Goonies was just dumb. lol

  • I need to give it another try... I think the hype ruined it for me! It was really cute though and because of this post I really want to watch it again :)

  • H and I rented Frozen last week and I also thought it was just okay. He thought the whole thing was ludicrous and went on and on about all the holes in the plot, which was more than obnoxious. Usually we love Disney movies.

  • We've watched it at least a dozen times.  My stepdaughters love it and are constantly singing Let It Go.  Thankfully H and I like the movie and haven't gotten sick of it yet.

Meaning I wasn't 8 when I watched it?? :) I'm sure I would've loved it if I'd seen it when I was a kid, but I didn't see it until about 3 years ago. Every talked about how it was OMGAMAZING and like, THE BEST MOVIE EVER!!! and I watched it and... well... it was sorely lacking ;) Maybe I'll give it another shot someday!

  • I love this movie. I think it's because 1) it isn't your typically love story and I love that Disney is getting away from the whole you need a prince to save you thing 2) it goes through the dynamics of a real relationship between siblings 3) I can relate to Ana and Elsa's torn bond 4) Olaf is the best snowman ever 5) who doesn't love having a family of trolls? And 6) the music, I think, is extremely well done.
  • I watched it last night!! :D Love. Amazing singing, beautiful storyline. And I cried. More than once.
