With our anniversaries coming up, the girls on my wedding board came up with this poll. Even though we all went through our weddings together, we all got married in April of 2008 so its been 6 years. 2. Is there any significance as to why you picked that date? Nope. It was supposed to be March 8th to coincide with the Philly Flower Show so I could get my flowers in bulk, but the double booked us and gave us a nice discount to move it.
4. Where was your ceremony? The Double Tree Hotel on Rt 202 in Wilmington . A friend was planing a cocktail reception there and I went on a visit with her and fell in love
5. Where was your reception? Double Tree. Wham Bam Thank You Ma'am. Wedding and Reception in the same room.
6. How many people did you have attend? 150
7. How many bridesmaids/groomsmen did you have? We had 10 on each side! Damn DH and all his people. I had to ask a few of his cousins to be bridesmaids.
8. What color were their dresses? Phillies Red (Apple)
9. What did your dress look like? Really plain actually. But it had an asymetrical neckline. It was different and I loved it on sight. For $100 I couldnt have picked a better dress.
10. When did you and DH see each other for the first time that day? Not until I was walking down the aisle
11. Where did you go on your honeymoon? Aruba! My favorite place on earth!
12. What is one (or more) fun fact about your wedding not covered above. 1. We had a Phillies themed wedding and a huge "P" ice sculpture that was turned into a martini louge. We also did a shit ton of DIY things including our wedding invitations. 2. We did a trash the dress session a few months after the wedding for a photograher friend trying to build his portfolo and I loved those pictures way more than any single picture our paid wedding photog took.

4. Where was your ceremony? Meredith Manor, Pottstown, PA

7. How many bridesmaids/groomsmen did you have? 3 groomsmen, 4 bridesmaids
8. What color were their dresses? Apple from David's bridal
9. What did your dress look like? Lacy with straps.
10. When did you and DH see each other for the first time that day? When I came down the aisle
11. Where did you go on your honeymoon? Punta Cana, Dominican Republic (I wanna go back!)
12. What is one (or more) fun fact about your wedding not covered above. Nothing really. I feel like you guys know everything since I posted so much on here during planning. But my favorite picture is Jeff seeing me as I come down the aisle. I never posted it anywhere because you can see he's about to cry... He's a big tough man, but I like knowing he's a softy when it comes to me.

3. How old were you and DH? I was 28, he was 35.
4. Where was your ceremony? At The Executive in Newark.
5. Where was your reception? Same place. Everything all in one spot.
6. How many people did you have attend? Including kids, around 103 I think.
7. How many bridesmaids/groomsmen did you have? We had 3 each.
8. What color were their dresses? A dark charcoal grey, yellow shoes and yellow roses.
9. What did your dress look like? Pretty simple. Strapless A line. Had some beading at the bodice and down the back of it.
10. When did you and DH see each other for the first time that day? When I walked down the aisle.
11. Where did you go on your honeymoon? We didm't go anywhere. We got married in the middle of his busy season at work and there was no way he could have taken another week off. We had just gone on vacation in June.
12. What is one (or more) fun fact about your wedding not covered above.I basically put everything together in a 5 month time frame.

4. Where was your ceremony? St. Anthony's in Wilmington
5. Where was your reception? The DoubleTree on King Street. I picked it because my brother is the chef there and I knew that he wouldn't let my wedding be anything but perfect. Some of the photos from our photo booth are actually still hanging in their back hallways and offices there - mostly the ones of my drunk bro
6. How many people did you have attend? I think it was about 200
7. How many bridesmaids/groomsmen did you have? 8 total. We each had 4. And we had 2 ring bearers and 1 flower girl
8. What color were their dresses? Dark blue
9. What did your dress look like? It was ivory (not white! haha) with a sparkle belt. Strapless with a sweetheart neckline and it flared towards the bottom. I don't know why I just typed all of that. I'm 90% sure that all of you have seen my wedding pictures.
10. When did you and DH see each other for the first time that day?When I walked down the aisle. That was one of the only things DH cared about. He did not want to see me until I was walking through the doors of the church.
11. Where did you go on your honeymoon? Jamaica. I'm dyinngg to go back and not be pregnant.
12. What is one (or more) fun fact about your wedding not covered above. I was pregnant! We didn't know it at the time but TMoney had already started baking away. We found out about a week and a half later that we were going to be parents. Also, mid-ceremony, the priest forgot DH's name and leaned down and whisper-yelled to my bridesmaids "What's the guy's name?" Really? Look at the Post-It note on your Bible!

7. How many bridesmaids/groomsmen did you have? 7 on each side plus a flower girl and G as our ring bearer

9. What did your dress look like? strapless sequined trumpet style. I was pretty much obsessed with it...I thought about doing a Trash the Dress session now just so I can wear it again

When did you and DH see each other for the first time that day? about an hour and a half before the ceremony....goes against everything I've ever believed in for the wedding day, but with everything being at the same place there wasn't much time for pictures in between, so I compromised this aspect of our day
11. Where did you go on your honeymoon? Playa Mujeres Mexico...the same week Hurricane Rina decided to come
12. What is one (or more) fun fact about your wedding not covered above. 1. Swoop was a special guest at our wedding and got the dance party started. I was obsessed with planking leading up to my wedding and I jumped on Swoop's back and planked in my gown...haven't planked since. 2. My friend married us and never said "you may be seated" so no one sat for the entire ceremony, luckily I kept that thing short. 3. G and my niece (flower girl) followed us up the aisle. When J stopped and kissed me, G tried to kiss Shayna. Sweetest thing ever.
