What's happening this weekend?

Today - I'm off! 16 week appt this afternoon. I seriously feel like I just went to the 12 week one! Absolutely nothing else to do though.

Saturday - hoa meeting, should be fun /sarcasm. Then going to my parents house to do their taxes. Then hopefully big lots has the rest of my furniture!

Sunday - usual grocery shopping, then H is changing my brakes and my cw's.

Taking care of my super sick kiddo

The kids and i were going to take a weekend trip to see my dad but on Wednesday my son went from "just getting a cold" to having to rush him to the emergency room.

He is asthmatic and his breathing was getting a little irratic so I gave him his inhalers but he continued to worsen. Within an hour he could barely breathe. On the car ride there he nearly past out but managed to stay awake. The moment we pulled into the ER parking lot he vomited everywhere!

(We live so close to the hospital that waiting for an ambulance would have taken longer than the car ride)

When we got inside emerg. they took us back right away and administered 2 nebulizer treatments and a double dose of liquid prednisone orally. Thankfully this helped and we were allowed to go home but he is on a continued oral steroid treatment as well as antibiotics for his chest and an ear infection.

His breathing is still not ideal but its getting better

Oh I have been in your sons shoes before...I turned blue once when I was sick from lack of oxygen. Love those breathing treatments and prednisone. My asthma is well-controlled now with a daily corticosteroid (I take either Advair or Symbicort daily and RARELY have to use my rescue inhaler) so hopefully as your son gets older it will get better like mine did

Literally no plans this weekend! DH doesn't have to work, so that's good. If it's rainy like it's been the last two days I wouldn't mind just watching movies all weekend. Are there any good movies out you'd recommend?

Today is a lazy day for me...H had to get up earlier than usual for work today and I woke up with him, so now I'm super tired and have no energy. I have to vacuum the house and oil the china cabinet..so that's fun.

Saturday we are hopefully tiling our bathroom wall and maybe driving to a store that sells vintage looking fridges, just to see how much they are.

Sunday is church day with not much else planned.

Today, I'm a little sad. It's the anniversary of losing my great-grandmother 16 years ago. April 4 still hurts every year. I plan on spending much of the day remembering her.

Tomorrow, H and I are running a few errands. We have a few things to get at IKEA and we have to go to the grocery store.

Sunday, I plan to submit the manuscript of my thesis!!! I'm done writing, but I just want to proofread it a few more times.

Nothing going on tonight.

This weekend, H needs to finish the back splash in our kitchen bc everything is all over the place and my OCD cant handle it. Other than that just the usual cleaning, grocery shopping, errands and gym.

As for me, yet another weekend working on house stuff. Yay!! *EXTREME sarcasm** I am so ready to be done with this damn house, ugh.

Anyway, tonight we are working on our DIY outdoor sectional and then cleaning the house and doing laundry. We've totally neglected it for the last two weeks and it's completely Out. Of. Control!!

I get a small break tomorrow morning since I'm going to get my hair did!! Woohoo! I need a keratin treatment desperately because my curls are coming back and this frizz just isn't cute. I might also get my hair cut and some highlights but that's still up in the air. When I get back home, we'll continue working on the sectional and probably start moving the huge mound of mulch that's sitting in my driveway to the backyard. Later at night, I'm hoping we can make it to my parents house for some menudo.

Sunday, I am set on sleeping in. Then we'll work on whatever needs to get done.

Just typing this out made me tired!

I'm leaving for vacation in Georgia this Thursday so this weekend will be a lot of running around and getting ready for that. Errands, laundry, probably a haircut, catching up on stuff from work...OH, and I have to clean the apartment because we're having people over for game night on Saturday! Sheesh! I love traveling, but getting ready to go anywhere is SUCH a pain.

Lots of baby stuff this weekend.

We will finish the prep work to paint the other half of the nursery.

Tomorrow we have our hospital tour and then we will just be working on things around the house. I'm really hoping to get the room completely painted so that we can build the furniture. Nothing like waiting until almost the last minute, ugh...

Sunday I have brunch in DC with a group of girlfriends and then church. We will probably do some errand running after.

We are going to my SILs after work which both DH and I forgot about. No biggie though we love hanging out with her.

I don't have any set plans for Saturday or Sunday. DH is working both days so I will be home to do whatever I want. I think I might work on cleaning out the walkin attic space since it is a complete disaster.

Just got done with work. Heading into town for a little while to pick up some odds and ends and grab some dinner. My parents gave us a gift card for a restaurant back home as repayment for fixing their computer. So, we may go use that.

No idea for the rest of the weekend. May get some stuff done around the house Saturday. Sunday is our year and a half anniversary. Not sure what's going on that day. DH suggested driving out to the park where we got married. I may consider it depending on the weather. I'd be a bit sad making an hour commute to visit somewhere waterlogged.

We had our school carnival tonight. It went really, really well!! We weren't too sure how it would turn out, but we ran out of tickets and had to resell the ones people had already used on activities! Now we're relaxing, watching TV, and waiting on some friends to come over and hang out.

Tomorrow our friends are coming into town and then we're headed to Nashville to see Wicked! It'll be my 6th time to see it...I *may* have a small obsession! I'm also excited because we're staying with my brother

Annnnd we're going to look at diamonds for my ring. H couldn't afford a diamond when we got engaged and it's got a really, really nice CZ in it (so nice that one jeweler didn't understand when we told her we wanted it replaced) so it's never been an issue. There's a really good deal going on at a local jeweler in Nashville this weekend, so we're at least going to look!

Sunday we'll head back home and relax

This evening, we went out to dinner and now we're relaxing. Tomorrow, H is working and I am going to go shopping with my mom. I only have like 5 maternity tops, obviously not enough. None of my regular clothes fit and they've all been put away

Sunday, FIL is throwing a surprise birthday party for MIL. Her birthday is next Thursday.
