  • Yeah I'll probably get flamed for this anyways, but whatever.

I haven't been very pleased with H this week.  So I thought about if by fluke chance we were to get pregnant this cycle, I would probably wait a day or 2 to tell him and test without him.  I don't want his sour attitude lately to ruin my happiness.

Yet I highly doubt I could keep it from him for much longer than 30 seconds. I don't keep secrets from him very well.

  • I am irrationally upset with my BIL and SIL.  Our nephew's first birthday is tomorrow and we were not invited to his party (we do live 12 hours away).  Apparently BIL called DH (their brothers) and said they did not sent an invite because they did not want us to feel obligated to buy him a gift.  What?  Of course we are going to buy nephew a gift and were going to no matter what!  I think that is such a crap reason to not send an invite.  For the record, we have never been invited to any of neice's birthdays either (she's 4) and have alway given her a gift.

I guess my FFC is that I think it is rude to not send invites to family members for any reason (other than if you aren't speaking or they will be drama at the event). Certain exceptions I'm sure apply, but I am old fashioned like that.

Yeah, you have every right to be a little pissed about this. I would be.

I get being upset about it, but it's not an FFFC. There's nothing to confess!

And also, my sister made sure I got my niece's first birthday invite even though she knew damn well I couldn't go (we live 1100 miles away). BIL was a dumbass not to send you guys an invite.

I'd be upset too.  My sister lives 3000km away and I get invites for my nieces' birthday parties.

  • CBH FFC just for @aimothy - Sometimes I walk around the house with a little pillow or quilt under my shirt just to see what it looks/feels like. This could be for a minute...or hour.
Since most of my extra weight is in my belly and I get confused for a pregnant woman a lot anyway, I sometimes go to the maternity section at stores and try on maternity clothes. I like to stick my stomach out while I'm in the fitting room so I can get the full pregnant look. (Yeah...I'm weird...moving on...)

Anyways, it's one of these times and I am coming out of the fitting room after trying stuff on and my DH has struck up a convo with a soon-to-be-grandma and her 7 months pregnant daughter. The daughter turns to me and starts to lament about how she just can't find any maternity clothes that fit right. Then she asks me where my favorite places to shop since I got pregnant are. I don't know what was going on in my head at the time but I didn't even try to correct her and tell her I wasn't pregnant. I just started telling her about a few different places that had cute stuff.

It was such a strange experience.

  • I now automatically hate women the second they complain about their periods/cramps/etc (if they aren't TTC).  I'd kill to have a normal body/cycle and those assholes are complaining about it. Bitter table for 1, please.
