Anyone play The Sims 3?

It is a dorky habit that I am reluctant to admit but I love playing The Sims 3 especially the new EP Island Paradise. Any other Simmers here? The only thing I don't like about it is it can become so damn addicting lol!

I LOVED Sims 2, but Sims 3 annoyed me. They "fixed" a lot of things that didn't need fixing, and left a lot of things to be desired: for instance, the amount of time it takes for my sim to get ready for work. THREE HOURS TO GET DRESSED AND BRUSH YOUR TEETH?!

I played Sims 3 for about 6 months when it first came out, but haven't touched it since... I've been pretty busy and I have an old computer so it lags a lot. Maybe I will pull it out for old time's sake on my day off next week...

I used to, but it doesn't work well on Mac and keeps shutting itself down. EA has been ignoring the issue so it sucks

I love Sims 3 but like other posters, it runs obnoxiously slow on my laptop (I don't have a desktop to play it on) so I don't play very much. It's not too often that I have time anyway. I agree that it is very addicting!

I played it for a while. Now, I just don't play it anymore because of how slow it runs, how boring it's gotten, and how much damage heavy gaming can cause my laptop.

I have refused to upgrade from Sims 2 to Sims 3 because I spent so much money on Sims 2. And from what I heard, there isn't much difference. I also highly doubt I'll upgrade to Sims 4 (unless my computer dies). I do miss SimCity, though.

Loved it and have played the series since the original came out. But I can't really play it as much anymore. My old computer died and every model I've purchased since then is unable to run it.
I may pick up 4 when it comes out and just install it on my hubby's computer.

Well, the long wait is completely over, since Muppets much loved is nearly out on the massive screen otherwise you might even watch The Muppets much loved on-line.

I used to be super addicted to SIMS! I would even play in my sleep haha. Since having a baby I haven't had time to though.
