NBR: Recommend your foundation (makeup)

I'm finishing up my Nars Sheer Glow and while I liked it, I want to try something else. What foundation do you use? I'm heading out tonight shopping and have a Sephora, Ulta and Mac available. I'm looking for medium coverage. Also, recommend your tinted moisturizer. I'd prefer to stick to lighter build for work if I can find a good one.

Has anyone used Urban Decay's Naked line? I've had great luck with their other products, but haven't ventured for foundations yet.

@SnShne322 I have both the UD Naked and Naked3 palettes. LOVE.

I use Bare Minerals for foundation. If I'm looking for more coverage, I use BB cream.

Dr. Jart Water Balm BB cream is fantastic (tinted moisturizer). It is very sheer, but it does a great job even things out, and is SUPERDUPER light and doesn't feel like makeup or a heavy cream.

I like Clinque's redness solutions foundation - it is the only thing that doesn't irritate my skin.

I use Tarte's tinted moisturizer when I want foundation-like coverage. Good stuff!

I've never used UD for foundation just eyeshadow and eyeliner.

For medium coverage I like Mac Face & Body because it's light but buildable. I also like their Select SPF for the same reason. You can also mix both with a tiny bit of moisturizer and make your own tinted moisturizer. Revlon Colorstay is also good for a drugstore brand.

If you're feeling fancy, I love Lancome Teint Idole foundation too...goes on like bleeping butter but you definitely pay for the pleasure.

I have been using Olay Total Effects CC cream and I really like it. It evens everything out and is a great moisturizer with sunscreen. I like that I can just wear it or if I need more coverage I add some concealer and powder.

I want to try the Naked foundation, but I haven't done it yet because I'm really happy with what I'm using now. I have the Naked2 palette and I love it so much.

@MrsC7 I just got N3 and I love it! I have all three actually and they are all fabulous. I'm glad to hear you like the foundation too!

I used to use a couple different expensive brands (most recently Laura Mercier, which is awesome), but I switched to Revlon Colorstay and never looked back. It's awesome.

I love Laura Mercier's tinted moisturizer. Garnier's BB cream is very similar for a much cheaper price, but it does have quite an odor. For actual foundation, I like Clinique's Almost Makeup or Lancome's Teint Idole.

Jo got me using the Clinique redness solution foundation. I do that and powder and I'm good to go.

Yeah, I've never even heard of most of these brands. I'm cheap. Revlon Colorstay from Target. Been using it for years.

I use Clinique's Acne Solutions, because the medication helps limit my breakouts.

I have the skin of a teenager. A teenager with wrinkles.

I like the Garnier BB cream (and I actually like the smell...and don't notice it lingering at all), but I recently cheaped out and bought a Rimmel BB cream and also like it.

I haven't worn traditional foundation in a couple of years, and I feel like that has been a great decision for me.
