  I have a yummy tomato vodka cream recipe. We normally grill chicken to put on top, but have done crab meat too.

  Jeff's favorite pasta meal is sausage and peppers. That's pretty easy and cheap to make. I really like the one pot pastas on pinterest. The creamy tomato is so good and so is the creamy sausage one. I've been eyeing up the white chicken lasagna to try...

  Is this the one on Pinterest? I made that with crab meat for NYE, actually. I just looked up this recipe...it got pretty good ratings...

  I think this is it. We usually double the sauce and use the diced tomatoes with basil, oregano and garlic.

  Thanks. I'll talk to N and see which one his dad would like. I REFUSE to spend more than a box of pasta on this dinner. AND he's getting a cake from a box mix- NO bakery. haha

  Well. His dad has worked SO hard is whole life and his mom just spends all their $$, so N has always felt like he wanted to do something nice for his dad. His dream was to send his dad to Africa on a hunting safari...but no way, that's way too much $$. Originally he was going to get something big and split it with his brother, but I decided I would rather us spend the $$ ourselves and let his brother figure out something himself, since his brother sucks and probably won't even acknowledge his dad's 60th.

  
  

  But anyway...he got him a Nascar experience where he gets to drive the car or whatever.
