My betas are 46; two weeks ago they were 52. They are having me repeat bw on Friday. Should I be concerned? Why did they only go down 6? My mc was 3 weeks ago.
TTC #1 since Feb. '12. dx: "unexplained" IF
After 2 shitty IVF cycles and 1 loss at 6+2 (EDD 11/7/14), DH and I are pursuing DIA.
11/17/2014 - ACTIVE AND WAITING!
Pregnancy was never the end goal; being a mom was.
I've been holding out on GP: I got drunk once and started a blog: Here it is (11/7 update) 3T<3
Re: Lr post #3 of the day

It is of course possible that there is still some tissue left. In which case it either needs to pass or they need to remove it. Hopefully that's not the case and you'll be back to zero soon.

I think it's strange that it only went down 6 in two weeks considering how early your loss was and how low your betas were a week after the loss. My CP I was at 4 two days after it started.
And in the fall, it took me 9ish weeks post D&C to drop to zero, but when they got to 55, they dropped to 16, 8 and zero on my weeklys.
Sometimes lab error can cause funny resultst too, so I'm glad they're repeating them on Friday.

I'm sorry poppies.
Have they done an ultrasound to make sure there's nothing left? It is possible that it may take a little while for the numbers to go down. But if they have not decreased much by Friday, then I wouldn't hesitate to push for another u/s.

I hope Friday shows a more significant decrease, but if not, I agree with asking for another u/s to ensure there is no remaining tissue.
B/w 1/8: betas 17,345, progesterone 25.6
I had an u/s a couple days after doing the suppository. There was nothing left in there, and my beta was 32.
They had me come back a week later to do another u/s and beta. My beta was 28 and there was a small blob in there. It ended up being a blood clot around a small piece of leftover tissue that was causing my beta's to slowly drop. But it wasn't visible in the first u/s.
So they could find nothing and it will just take yours a little while longer to decrease, or there could be something left.
