W(hy)TF do I have little spots of poison ivy all over. I have a little spot on the back of my arms just above my elbows, both shoulders, my lower back, a blister on my stomach, and my thigh. This sucks!!

Another W(hy)TF... Why don't people check themselves in the mirror before they leave the house. I mean I'm not say that I am perfect or anything but when you see a 60yo woman coming out of an office building with a slit in her skirt that is past her butt crack, you have to wonder sometimes. (I'm not even exaggerating when I say that I saw her butt.)

Wtf H - when my back hurts and I'm on the floor stretching it out a la child's pose (yoga) don't climb up behind me to dry hump me... Causing the dog to lick me in the face. My back hurts = not a time for porn style.

WTF H - I cannot take your bad attitude and constant complaining about not sleeping well. Small back story - he is taking Chantix to quit smoking. He just started last week. His whiny-ness combined with my grumpiness is making for a very volatile household. I'm really proud of him for taking the initiative to quit on his own, but goodness it's brutal.

i went to the dentist yesterday and now get to spend part of my spring break next week getting my wisdom tooth pulled, annoying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WTF goes to a veteran of this post...the other attorney at my company. Our titles our Legal Writer/Editor, so we write for a living even though we're attorneys. We were supposed to swap edits on a piece last Thursday, he said he needed more time to rewrite something, I say no biggie. He turns it in to me yesterday and it's literally word for word from the Wikepedia article/IRS website. He gets called out on it by the Senior Editor, and not only does he not deny it, he defends it! I'm here thinking oh shit he's going to be fired for plagiarism, doesn't happen. Just has a chat with one of the bosses and at the end of it they're laughing.

Weirdest. Company. Ever.

I don't have a WTF yet today. It's going to be sunny and 72 today and there is no snow in the forecast!!!!!! I shaved my super pale legs last night, I'm rocking capris and sandals today. Today is the first day in the 70s in over 6 months! If you are curious my toes nails are nude.

WTF work...why must you ALWAYS get so busy when I'm trying to get caught up and ready to leave for vacation? I still need to go shopping and pack, I don't have time to do a mountain of paperwork!

WTF person on LinkedIn...

I went to join the DC chapter of my professional society, and this person messages me back saying that she looked at my profile and saw that I don't live in DC. She said to try again if I decide to move to DC.

First of all, she didn't look to hard at my profile. It says U of Rochester, but under that it says DC metro area. Plus, on the side where it lists shared connections, it lists that we live IN THE SAME CITY.

So thank you for your snarky reply. I hope you feel like an idiot after you read my response back to you.

Thesis is being printed as we speak (the manuscript that is...the fancy book won't be printed until after I defend and make any necessary revisions).

I've switched over to full time job searching now. I'm starting to put together some networking ideas, and I applied for 1 job this week (maybe 2, if I decide to take a chance on one that I'm not really qualified for).

I need to work on my thesis presentation and study a bit, but I needed to focus on something other than the 150 page book that I just wrote LOL!

Today's wtf is dedicated to timing/my luck anymore. Normally, I go to the allergist to get my weekly shot on Thursday after I get off work at 230. My lab mate asked me to switch shifts since she had a meeting with an advisor and I agreed... as much as I didn't want to. (Whole other story that will probably show up as a confession tomorrow)
I planned to go in today before I started work at 1030. Their office opened at 9. I get there for 945 since it's only ten minutes away from my job. They are closed because the doctor had to step out. So, I got the pleasure of speeding downtown on my lunch break to go since I am unable to do so tomorrow.
