    Any updates on your TTC process? Still TTA, just started my 2nd AF since d&c. 1 more and I can start TTC again! 

    Are you doing anything new to battle the PCOS b*tch? Diet, exercise, and metformin. 

    How are you doing with diet and exercise? I could be doing better, especially with the nice weather. With the arrival of AF, I let myself have cake last night. 

    Any suggestions for PCOS friendly meals or workouts? I enjoy the South Beach Diet. 

    What would help get or keep you motivated to eat healthy and exercise? Not keep giving myself stupid excuses. 

    Did you know anything about PCOS before you were diagnosed? I knew a little bit, just basically what you would hear from word of mouth or media which made it seem like a death sentence. 

    QOTW: What was the last thing you pinned? DIY home things. 

    AW/FFC: Confession: I feel like a huge brat when it comes to people I know IRL that are pregnant. 
    Also, AF is early and I've had some (TMI) discharge lately. I asked the doctor and she wants me to keep her posted, if something is off with the next one, she wants me to come in. I got a bit nervous because I've never had an issue like this before. Hopefully it's just from the d&c.

    We're trying naturally, it worked for us last time. Just have to be careful with timing because last time, even though I was pretty spot on cycle wise, I don't ovulate on the 14th day. Doctor's plan is 6 months of natural, if nothing then try clomid.

    Are you doing anything new to battle the PCOS b*tch? Just the PCOS/GF diet and exercising.

    How are you doing with diet and exercise?  Okay.  Last week was bad with exercise. I only ran once.  But that's what I do after a long run.  I did a 14 mile run that Saturday then ran once that week.  This week I'm bound and determined to be better.

    Diet hasn't been bad.  I cheated and had a DQ blizzard that had cake pieces in it.  Then gave it to H because it didn't taste good to me.  So maybe my tastebuds are getting used to the lack of sweets and crap food.

    Any suggestions for PCOS friendly meals or workouts?  Made this the other day, and it was delicious. 
    Also am having an addiction to these GF PB&J bars from Walmart.  YUM!

    What would help get or keep you motivated to eat healthy and exercise?  Looking at my chart. I fell off the wagon last week, then looked at my chart and O on CD15 and snapped myself back out of it.  Just when I think it isn't worth it, I try to remind myself that I've ovulated on my own twice now.  That's something that only happened last year because I had followed this diet!

    Did you know anything about PCOS before you were diagnosed? Nope. Nada, zitch, ziltch.

    AW/FFC:  H ran with me again last night. :-)  He also told me what his goal weight is and that he wants me to help keep him accountable to lose the rest of the weight.  He's lost 30lbs so far, and wants to lose another 35.

    TTC since 1/13  DX:PCOS 5/13 (long, anovulatory cycles)

  • Any updates on your TTC process? Nope. NTNP until January 2015.

    Are you doing anything new to battle the PCOS b*tch? Just exercise, diet, and metformin.

    How are you doing with diet and exercise? Pretty good! I'm back to using my food journal regularly and have been making exercise a bigger priority.

    Any suggestions for PCOS friendly meals or workouts? No specific meals or workouts but I know I am trying to stick with whole foods and whole grains.

    What would help get or keep you motivated to eat healthy and exercise? My Fitness Pal is a big help. I like making sure I am within my calorie goals and that I make my exercise goal. It would help a lot if I had a workout buddy too though.

    Did you know anything about PCOS before you were diagnosed? I knew the basic idea of it since my sister was diagnosed first.

    QOTW: What was the last thing you pinned? The "Seven Day No Gym Workout Plan" pin. I'm going to start it next week!

    AW/FFC: Confession- We are trying to save money right now and pay down some credit card debt but I really want to go ahead and splurge on a heart rate monitor wrist watch!

  • Any updates on your TTC process? I ovulated, so there's that. Then the wicked witch of the red showed up this afternoon with no warning signs whatsoever (other than a temp drop) so yeah. Nothing else new.

    How are you doing with diet and exercise? Diet is good for the most part. Exercise is um. yeah. I'll get there.

    Any suggestions for PCOS friendly meals or workouts? not really.

    What would help get or keep you motivated to eat healthy and exercise? My husband's health makes me eat healthier. I'm still working on the exercise thing though.. it's an anxiety/panic disorder thing that holds me back..

    Did you know anything about PCOS before you were diagnosed? No and I really didn't research it much until we had been TTC for awhile.

    AW/FFC: Since AF showed, I got a cookies and cream hershey bar from the vending machine.

    T-TTC since Dec 2008. PCOS/nonexistant cycles(anovulation) and endo. HSG in '10 revealed both tubes blocked. Lap surgery in Dec '10 to correct. Failed Clomid/IUI and injectable(Bravelle)/IUI cycles so far.
