my Nook tablet is possessed

It's randomly changing pages on me. Ugh. I guess this was to be expected, since I've owned it for almost 2 years now. But, still ... ugh.

So a question ... if I move to a Kindle, can I transfer my books from the nook library to the kindle?

I'm probably more likely to get a nook at this point though ... but probably not another nook tablet; I'd probably go for a regular ole e-reader. Whatever they're called. Lol. The browser on my nook tablet has always been pretty awful, so I'd be more likely to skip the tablet thing.

I don't know of a way to transfer your library to kindle unless you get a tablet and use the nook app.

I highly recommend the Glowlight if you are looking for a ereader rec.

Mine does that sometimes. I have the Nook Color. I would like to switch to a kindle but I don't want to lose all my books.

Usually when I turn it off and back on, it stops the random page turning. When I get a new one, I'll probably get the Glowlight.

I also have a nook simple touch with the glow light and truly love it. I think I would get a tablet I could use the nook or kindle apps on if I had a tablet to replace.

This helped, thank you!! I should have thought of that, because when my browser gets frozen, the turn off / turn on trick fixes it.

I already have an iPad, so I guess via my nook app, I wouldn't truly lose the library if I were to switch to a kindle. But, man, it's so nice to have them all in one place!

Is the Glowlight like a kindle paperwhite? I tried to get fancy with buying the nook tablet, because I didn't have an iPad yet, and wanted something I could browse and surf on. Unfortunately the browser is the pits, so I barely use it for that. And I'd rather go with a more simple e-reader, with a screen made for reading books, because the glare on the tablet screen is a little bit annoying.

@Leeba25 if you already have an iPad you can download the Kindle app as well. I used to have a Nook Color but it started doing the crazy page turning and OverDrive was kind of a pain so I passed it along to my nieces at Christmas and have just been using my iPad since then. I have the OverDrive app, the Nook app and the Kindle app all on the iPad so I didn't lose any Nook books, plus Amazon will sometimes have a cheaper price on books so I'll buy thru Amazon and it will download in seconds! The only thing you can't do on the Kindle app is get into the Kindle owners library to borrow free books, but that's where OverDrive/the library comes in to save the day!
