T-TTC since Dec 2008. PCOS/nonexistant cycles(anovulation) and endo. HSG in '10 revealed both tubes blocked. Lap surgery in Dec '10 to correct. Failed Clomid/IUI and injectable(Bravelle)/IUI cycles so far.
Re: NOTD Wednesday!
Gemma - I'm kinda meh about it.
Aurora - Sleeping Beauty... no.
Lila - My friends' one year old is Lila. I like it, but could never use it for that reason. I prefer Delilah with Lila as a nn.
Declan - It was on my long list for boys, but not even close to the top. I'm on the fence.
Finn - Don't hate it, but NMS. SOunds too much like a nn or a last name to me.
Thomas - Too common for my liking, but it's a nice name.
Gemma - Nope. NMS.
Aurora - I love this name. But it's a little too popular for me. I also don't think it sounds that nice with our last name.
Lila - NMS.
Declan - Living in Jersey, I can only associate this with politicians right now (Declan O'Scanlon). So, no. Also, I don't think I like it anyway.
Finn - I like it! But, wouldn't use it.
Thomas - Will definitely be used. Most likely as a first name. If not, a middle name. This is DH's must have name.
Gemma: Knew a girl in college named this, and she was a b*tch. So no.
Aurora: The town I lived in during college. Nope.
Lila: I like it, but it's too simple for me.
Declan: Makes me think of the movie "Just Go with It." The mean girl is named Declan and that's what the kids call it when they need to go #2. So yeah, no.
Finn: Love it, but H wouldn't. :-(
Thomas: This is on our list for middle names. We like James Thomas, but FIL's first name is James (he doesn't go by it). So it likely won't end up getting used.

Aurora - Very pretty, but all I can think of is Sleeping Beauty
Lila - I like it, but don't think we'd use it.
Declan - I actually kinda like it, but wouldn't use it.
Finn - Nope. Too fishy.
Thomas - I adore this name, but can't use it because it sounds silly with my last name.

The others get a resounding MEH from me.
Gemma - It's ok, but all I can think of is the character from Sons of Anarchy and she is the devil!
Aurora - I really like this name, but I don't think we'd use it because of the Sleeping Beauty reference.
Lila - It's pretty, but my MIL is named Leila, so too similar.
Declan - It's ok, NMS though.
Finn - Cute, but also NMS.
Thomas - I like it, but my first serious relationship was with a guy name Thomas, so no.
Aurora - I love this name (it's on my list), but I don't think DH would go for it.
Lila - Nothing against it, but NMS.
Declan - Cute, but NMS.
Finn - All I can think of is Glee, so no.
Thomas - This is on DH's list, but I'm meh about it.

Lila - NmS.
Declan - fine for somebody else
Finn - I love Finn. But my nephews name is Huck and I don't want a Huck and a Finn in the same family
Thomas - I love the nn Tommy for a kid. But I don't love Tom or Thomas. It's growing on me though.

You're looking at it wrong.... that alone is reasoning TO use it!
In Christ alone my hope is found. He is my LIGHT, my STRENGTH, and my SONG!

Gemma - Pretty, but NMS.
Aurora - Was on our short list, but we ended up deciding on not using A as an initial.
Lila - One of my very good HS friends named her daughter Lila. Cute, but NMS.
Declan - NMS, but I love it on other people's little boys.
Finn - Glee. That is all.
Thomas - Too common for my taste, but it's a strong, classic name.
Aurora - I know a baby was just born and given this name, so no. But NMS anyways.
Lila-NMS
Declan-Revenge
Finn-NMS
Thomas - too common for me.
The rest are cute but NMS/have weird associations for me.
