Picture location suggestions
We're having family pictures taken next weekend and I'd love to take advantage of pretty spring flowers if possible. Suggestions for locations? I've seen Mellon Park come up a few times. We're west of the city and our friend/photographer is East - so somewhere central would be great

Our photos last year were on the North Shore at the park with the water steps. Not a ton of flowers, but I loved the photos.
We used the park and garden outside Phipps a few times, and then went down to the Pitt Fine Arts fountain another time.
In a few weeks, we're doing Point State Park.
I was also going to suggest Phipps if you are looking for flowers and greenery.
For park like settings, we've had photos at Mellon Park and West Park. We've done the water steps on the North Shore and the Strip District, less park like and more urban, but I do love how our pictures turned out.
Are there any spots around the Pitt campus/Cathedral of Learning?
