Mine is that I don't think Victorias Secret's PINK line is that cute, nor worth the money.
UGG boots are also ugly and overrated.

I wear them occasionally when it's super cold. I hate how large they make my feet look, but they are oh so warm.

I agree with this. Especially the pinup/boudoir maternity pictures now. Yes, pregnancy is beautiful. Don't get me wrong there. But if you wouldn't show your body like that during non-pregnancy, then don't show it that way now.

Agree! If you want to do it for yourself, fine. I just don't want to see it.I agree with this. Especially the pinup/boudoir maternity pictures now. Yes, pregnancy is beautiful. I actually did the boudoir pics for H as his wedding gift. They aren't anywhere people can see/find them, and I've only let a couple of people see a few of them. I was at my smallest weight when I got them done, and they're honestly more for me than anything. H likes them too, of course. But I would never post them on my Facebook or have them hanging on our walls.

In Christ alone my hope is found. He is my LIGHT, my STRENGTH, and my SONG!
T-TTC since Dec 2008. PCOS/nonexistant cycles(anovulation) and endo. HSG in '10 revealed both tubes blocked. Lap surgery in Dec '10 to correct. Failed Clomid/IUI and injectable(Bravelle)/IUI cycles so far.
I disagree with the naked belly maternity photos. It is a unique time in someone's life (and as we all know, sometimes a difficult journey to get to) and if they want a photo to remember it by then all the power to them. What I don't like to see on FB is side boob. Keep them things to yourself.
I also did a boudoir session and album for DHs wedding gift. Its hidden away for our eyes only, but it was a very empowering experience and I felt beautiful. I would do another one in the future too for our anniversary. I wasn't naked though, just undies and costumes.
I obviously believe that photography is a beautiful way to commemorate times in our lives, and hold nothing against someone who chooses to express themselves in what ever way works for them.

I love seeing bare belly maternity photos. I am NOT a fan of fully or partially nude maternity photos though. It's just not my thing. One of my best friends had a series of them done during her second pregnancy, and they were matted and framed and hanging in her bedroom.
I'm with you ladies on hating UGGs and think PINK is overpriced. I do love the pair of yoga pants and jeans I got from that line years ago though.

There's nothing wrong with doing them for yourself. Not at all. But why is it appropriate to plaster a half naked woman all over FB because she's pregnant, but it's considered nudity to many if she's not?

Lingerie, definitely not. But bikini pics? Sure! There's way more showing in those than I'd be showing in a bare belly photo. I'd have no qualms having that visible to whomever.
That being said, I'm only talking bare belly. There would be something covering the boobs and below the belly. I definitely wouldn't post/hang up a maternity photo in which I were either topless or almost entirely nude.
