Mommas and Soon to Be's

Have you guys ever heard of the Freemie Pump? If you havent do yourself a favor and check it out. The ladies on my wedding board have raved about it.

Re: Mommas and Soon to Be's

  • Interesting. I'll have to look it up.

I get a free Ameda double electric pump kit or Ameda manual pump and 150 Ameda bags every 3 months with my insurance.

  • I just looked at it. I HATED pumping. If I have another kid, I'm buying this asap. It's compatible with the pump that I have.

Thats why I figured would bring this info here. I dont know anyone that likes to pump at all. But the girls that have used this one love it.  The convinence might just be enough to justify cost.
  • That's cool. Thanks for sharing. I'll definitely be looking into it. I'm going to ask insurance company about coverage of a new pump too.

  • Interesting...definitely something I would look into for another child!  I can't believe none of the mommies in my September groups have mentioned this product!

I don't mind pumping except at night when I'm exhausted and ready for bed and have to pump.  And @mana8503, thank you for the reminder about calling my insurance company.  I got a Medela double electric pump free from my insurance and I know they cover supplies, but I never called back to find out what that meant.  I go through a box of 100 bags every 2 1/2-3 weeks, so that would definitely save me money!
