NBR: Share your skincare regimen
I've never been good at taking care of my skin - I pretty much just moisturize. It's definitely catching up with me, so I need to start doing more. But the options are overwhelming!! What kind of cleansers, exfoliators, moisturizers, etc. do you all use and like? Bonus points for more affordable suggestions! (Daycare is expensive, yo!)
Re: NBR: Share your skincare regimen
Tea Tree variety Goat Milk Stuff Soap - I use the tea tree one because my skin has been prone to breakouts/blemishes quite often in the past. http://goatmilkstuff.com/
St. Ives Collagen Elastin moisturizer - it's like $6 and comes in a huge tub; I like it for price, but I may consider something else when it runs out. http://www.drugstore.com/st-ives-timeless-skin-collagen-elastin-facial-moisturizer/qxp194030?catid=182947
Burts Bees Citrus Facial Scrub - I only use this a few times a week to help slough off any dead skin that's just clogging things up. I love the way it smells, and my skin feel sooooo soft afterward. http://www.drugstore.com/burts-bees-citrus-facial-scrub/qxp45545?catid=182914
That's it. I may put on a little spot treatment if I feel it's necessary when a blemish pops up. But otherwise, I don't use anything else on a daily basis (well, BB cream, but I consider that more part of my makeup regimen than skin care).

1- Get fed up with all face treatments not working
2- Buy Proactiv
3- Use proactive
4- it works! Love having clear, healthy looking skin!
5- feel guilty about the amount of chemicals I'm putting on my face
6- Ditch Proactiv and try some other method yet again
7- Have horrible skin
8- Go back to Proactiv
9- Repeat yearly

@Lynn0514 - BB creams are called "beauty balms" (hence the BB). They typically offer several skin-care benefits, but which ones depend on the brand you buy (brightening, evening skin tone, blurring imperfections, smoothing, hydrating, etc). I've used both Maybelline and Garnier. I like the Garnier for its slightly better coverage; Maybelline's is more sheer. Both are tinted, so you need to buy the tint that matches your skin tone. Most I've seen contain SPF, too, which is great, because I hate putting regular sun screens on my face and my St. Ives lotion doesn't contain SPF.
