Does anyone have plans for Easter?
Any Easter menus to share?
What are you filling your baskets with this year?
Do you hide your Easter baskets?
Re: Easter Post/Poll
Easter Plans: We'll spend the morning at home, then either have everyone over to our house or go to my parents. The IL's go away every year for Easter, so it's always just my family. \:D/ We also have brunch with the Bunny this weekend and will hit up Reilly's at some point.
Menu: Probably just the usual of ham, potato side, veggie side, but I'm hoping this post will give me some new ideas!
Baskets: So far I have nothing for the baskets! Probably the usual of candy and summer/outside stuff (chalk, bubbles, etc.) I just bought the boys some super hero crocs that I'll probably put in there as well.
We hide the baskets!
Does anyone have plans for Easter? My MIL is having easter brunch.
Any Easter menus to share? I told her I would make deviled eggs. I am not to sure what else she is making. (Sorry to not be of more help!)
What are you filling your baskets with this year? I have nothing yet either. It just hit me I better be thinking. I did get some chocolate minions at Sarris for her basket. And at a loss for what else to put in there.
Do you hide your Easter baskets? No it is usually just on the kitchen table. Ha. Boring.
Ham, mashed potatoes, corn and probably cheesecake
Dd is getting some favorite candy, new glittery shoes (was getting them anyways so figured why not be a gift!), Frozen sunglasses, Frozen wall decals, coloring book, few beginner reading books, chapter book and a shirt. Some snacks and little things to go in plastic eggs
Yep we hide the basket
Does anyone have plans for Easter?
We will probably just go to my parents. It is Orthodox Easter also, but I highly doubt DH wants to see his family. My sister is hoping she goes into labor. We may be celebrating my pap's 85th birthday, so we may have to head to my grandparents' house. His actually birthday is Tuesday but I am glad we are waiting til the weekend because it is my birthday too. I like my pap, but I don't want to spend my birthday there.
Any Easter menus to share? Ham, standing rib roast, potato salad, veggies all made by my mother. I will bring desert. Oh and we are having cake for my birthday.

Do you hide your Easter baskets?
Phipps sounds awesome. I will keep this in mind for future Easters!
We are going to brother and SILs house. The menu always includes ham, potato, veggie. I am making a jello mold.
Basket will have some American Girl type accessories. nothing AG brand though, I went cheep. Candy, chap stick, earrings, nail stickers. I wanted to get her a soccer ball too. But have not been out to do that yet without her.
I do hide the basket now that she is old enough to look for it. Last year I hid eggs filled with legos (a set split up into the eggs) and that solved the issue of hiding food filled treats through my house.
I'm glad I clicked on this post because there are only four of us for Easter this year - me, DH, Jude, and MIL. I think Phipps sounds like a good option.
edited - never mind. sold out.
Usually the bunny hides the eggs but not the basket. At least until the kids are old enough for a scavenger hunt.
Does anyone have plans for Easter?
Yep...we always to go to my mom's house. On the drive in Saturday morning, we do dinner at MILs, hang out at my sister's at night, go to church with my parents and sister's family Easter morning and then do a dinner egg hunt at DH's grandparents.
Any Easter menus to share?
We do Costco's spiral sliced ham, au gratin potatoes, ginger glazed carrots and finish with macarons.
What are you filling your baskets with this year?
We do some candy (dark chocolate, those Reese's pieces carrots and a few small things) and then mostly stuff like flip flops. This year, it's a lot of Frozen stuff like the Frozen dolls, books, etc. Last year, the kids got a Power Wheels but I don't think the EB got anything big this year.
Do you hide your Easter baskets?
Yes! Ever since I was a kid they were hidden so I hide them now. That's the one thing DD talks about is how the baskets were in the power wheels in the garage and the year before they were under the dining room table at my parents' house.
Does anyone have plans for Easter? We are hosting this year and it looks like a full house (for us) as my ILs are coming in and my dad will be spending his first Easter here.
Any Easter menus to share? We go non-traditional on Easter and typically grill. Neither of us are big ham fans, so we enjoy doing our own thing.
What are you filling your baskets with this year? I got her bubbles, play doh, a puzzle, socks, cheddar bunnies and a mini thing of m&ms.
Do you hide your Easter baskets? We do. It's not something I did when I was growing up, but it was important to DH so we're going with it. I think she'll enjoy it this year:)
I'm just in charge of dessert, so I'm tossing around some ideas. I'm almost settled on a strawberry and peach trifle (seen on my desser Pinterest board if you're interested).
I got Logan a TON of books on super clearance last year. I think I have some toys for him too and I might throw in some fruit snacks. Not surprisingly, Grammy and Pap spoiled him rotten and he has a bunch of toys coming from them. Please note, I never got a bunch of toys on Easter from them.
I don't think Logan is old enough to get the hiding the basket concept.
