  • Glasses. No surgery I can see without them, I just get headaches from focusing on the computer.

  • 20/20 here, thankfully.  No glasses or contacts.

  • I am super blind.  I used to only wear contacts and my eyes went from barely a prescription to terrible in short amount of time.  Now I mostly wear my glasses and my eyesight has stopped changing.

I really want lasik!!!  I scheduled an appointment a few years ago but then cancelled it because I read something about holding off until you are done having children.  The article said that pregnancy hormones can greatly change your eyesight.

  • Glasses almost always, if not glasses it is contacts. I cannot see anything without them.

I doubt I'd ever do lasik. Unless they knocked me out for it.

  • I wear glasses most of the time. Occasionally I wear my contacts. I can see without them-ish, but I get headaches from trying to focus on anything more than 2 feet in front of my face.

  • Don't wear either.  I'm supposed to wear some, but I don't.  When I did, I noticed my eyes got worse so I decided to go without.  My eyesight isn't so bad that I really need them anyway.

  • None. I briefly wore glasses when I was younger, but it was because I was straining my eyes by holding books too close and my eyes would cross, but not because I couldn't see them. I'm sure I'll eventually need them for real since my mom has worn glasses or contacts her whole life, and my dad started wearing glasses when he was in his late 40's, early 50's.

  • I wear contacts but have glasses for emergencies . I am pretty blind without them. I am interested in LASIK but my eyes keep getting worse almost every year, they need to be stable for two years before you're a candidate.

Last summer I was diagnosed with cataracts and need surgery for that. That surgery may help improve my vision tho where I wouldn't need the contacts or at least a much lower prescription . I had surgery all booked then got a BFP so everything was canceled and put on hold.
  • I got LASIK done in 2010 and it was the best decision ever. Before that I wore contacts and/or glasses.

  • I wore glasses for 7 years and had little success with contacts.  In 2011 I got laser eye surgery and it was one of the best choices I've ever made.

  • I would love to get LASIK - seriously I can not see anything wo glasses or contacts! I am partial to contact because I see so much better in them than glasses ! And I hate getting glasses since my vision is soooo bad it costs a whole lot for new glasses! So I tend to hold off as long as possible ( I hate going to get them too cause for the eye exam your supposed to not wear contacts for like 24 hours before but without my contacts I can't even see what the new glasses look like on me!!! And I have a smallish head so a lot of glasses are too big for my face!
  • I don't wear glasses or contacts.  If I did and I were a candidate, I would get Lasik.
  • Have been in glasses since I was probably 9 or 10. Only real time stamp I have for that is the fact that my childhood best friend and I were into the American Girls franchise at that point and my favorite character was also a glasses wearer. So, that made dressing up as her for Halloween a bit more doable.

I tried contacts for a day. I couldn't handle the technician at the optometrist putting them onto my eyes. And even today, I'm still weird about people around my eyes.

I don't think I would do corrective surgery. Not because of cost or risk or anything. I'm just so used to seeing glasses on my face. It even weirds me out looking in the bathroom mirror when I don't have them on.

  • I wear glasses, most of the time. I am far sighted so I need them for reading and close up things. I am not a candidate for lasik because of they type of astigmatism I have. And I don't think I would get it if I was, the whole concept freaks me out.
