  MIL invited us to dinner with her and Sib-ILs last night. She got a gift card for a local steak and seafood restaurant. Every time she invites us out with all of them, DH and I always end up putting money into the bill while Sib-ILs do nothing. With her gift card, there was $20 left on the bill. DH asked if I had any cash on me. MIL stopped what she was doing and stared at me while I grabbed my purse. I knew I had plenty of cash on me, but to have her stop and wait, I'm sorry you invited us out, we have taken you out plenty of times (just her and the whole ILs), for once pay the whole bill instead of waiting for us. 
  

  
  

  So I lied and said I didn't have any cash on me. MIL paid the whole bill. Then said out loud "Thanks Mr Sir (I can 't remember the guys name), you made it so I could treat my kids to something I usually can't."

  I'm excited for and grateful for the home we are buying, but I would rather be having a baby.

  The guy I work with ( I had written a post about him a month ago) found out the sex of his baby yesterday.  IDK why but I just feel like he is getting everything I want and it was a relief to find out he isn't having a girl like he wanted. He had been saying he wanted a girl for so long but when he told me yesterday he is having a boy I was relieved for some reason.

  I felt the same way when Step-SIL found out she was having a boy too.

  @sewilson33 I would have felt the same way. I was secretly happy when I found out a former friend was having a girl when she really wanted a boy.

  I side eye and secretly hate people who are too lazy to put recyclables in their respective bins instead of in the garbage. You walk by the bins when you leave the kitchen. And you work for an environmental company. How is this difficult?

  I was so horny last night after I got home from having a few glasses of wine at book club (wine always makes me horny), I kept bugging DH, who was already in bed, until he was ready. Sorry...not sorry.

  I felt the exact same way about my coworker. All she talked about was wanting a boy since (boyfriend, now h) had a little girl already. It was sad how happy I was when she announced that she was having a girl.

  I'm a little bit happy that a friend of mine who lost his job 5 weeks ago hasn't found a new job yet.  I know that makes me awful but he was soooo cocky and bragging about how he knew he'd find a new job in a week that it kind of makes me happy that he has got knocked down a peg now.

  A day late but it definitely belongs here. My friend recently invited me to an event with Jeff Bauman, the guy who became the face of the marathon bombing. I declined because I didn't want to hear people gushing over how he's now expecting with his fiancée. If they weren't expecting, I'd probably go, but I just don't need to hear all that now.
