WIJFR: Locke and Key series
Locke and Key is a series of comic books written by Joe Hill. There are 36 total that got compiled into 6 larger books, and the series is over.
I LOVED this series. I have also read two of Joe Hill's novels (Horns and Heart Shaped Box) and Locke and Key is by far my favorite of those. It's about a family who moves back to their childhood home after a tragedy. The house is full of keys that each do something different and strange; one unlocks a medicine cabinet that will fix anything broken that is put inside. One of the keys unlocks a door to another world and a part of that world crossed over years ago and is hoping to reopen the door. There are a lot of horror and fantasy elements and the art is really great. If you are into comic books or just like Joe Hill I would definitely check these out!
