Do you wear glasses or contacts? Have you have laser eye surgery? Would you ever have laser eye surgery?

Re: QOTD 4/10
I am super blind. I used to only wear contacts and my eyes went from barely a prescription to terrible in short amount of time. Now I mostly wear my glasses and my eyesight has stopped changing.
I really want lasik!!! I scheduled an appointment a few years ago but then cancelled it because I read something about holding off until you are done having children. The article said that pregnancy hormones can greatly change your eyesight.
Last summer I was diagnosed with cataracts and need surgery for that. That surgery may help improve my vision tho where I wouldn't need the contacts or at least a much lower prescription . I had surgery all booked then got a BFP so everything was canceled and put on hold.
I tried contacts for a day. I couldn't handle the technician at the optometrist putting them onto my eyes. And even today, I'm still weird about people around my eyes.
I don't think I would do corrective surgery. Not because of cost or risk or anything. I'm just so used to seeing glasses on my face. It even weirds me out looking in the bathroom mirror when I don't have them on.
