H told his ex we would like the kids Easter weekend. Lilly's bday is 24th, and Easter is my 3 day weekend so it all worked out. We usually get them for Easter when it's close to Lilly's bday.

Ex was good with this... But NOW she wants them for 2 hours Sunday for Lilly a party. Wft?! Seriously? Have it the next weekend not our weekend! We get them maybe 6 weekends a year... Out of 52, pick another weekend! And who will go to a party ON EASTER SUNDAY?! I just can't right now.

    What a crazy b*#@h. That's not fair. She pulled that crap the last time you were down too, right? Is she trying to be cheap and celebrating while having Easter with her family? What did Jeff say?

    She got Lilly on black Friday for a birthday party. But at least this time she told us and didn't sent Lilly in to tell us.

    Jeff was more ok with it than me. He said he'll make sure the time didn't conflict with our Easter plans. We were going to do her birthday Saturday (build a bear) and ex said we can keep them Sunday night since they don't have School Monday for spring break.

    That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Is this going to be a party with friends or just family? I highly doubt anyone is bringing their kid to a party on Easter, I know I wouldn't be. If it's just family, poor Lilly is getting jipped because she's caling Easter dinner her "Birthday" party. Clearly this is being done out of spite. Sorry you're dealing with stupid once again.

    And if it is a friend party, it sucks that you aren't able to be there. We're never in town for Grant's party because she would never do it on our weekend, but if for some reason we were in town, we'd be able to go to his Birthday party.

    This woman makes my blood boil. I seriously don't know how you deal with her. You don't get enough time with them as it is. Does she really need to take her on your weekend?? She's such a spiteful little brat.

    Spwish ul little brat is the best way to describe her! Idk if there will be friends there... I'll ask Lilly when she comes back. We were going to do something just us on Saturday, and then there will be cupcakes and presents from the rest of the family when they come for Easter. It's a little different us combining the two then her mom... Because you know, she has them all the time!

    I feel better telling you guys about the crazy so I can be supportive of Jeff. I wish I could shake sense into her...
