Arabella: Beautiful name, but wouldn't use it.

    Conor: Cute, but too popular.
    Lucien: Don't like.

    Arabella: Nope
Emmeline:  I would love an Emme or and Emmie.

Slater:  Our last name starts with "Sl", so this would be ridiculous.
    Conor: Nope.

And what @PandPMeant2B said about the boy names. :)

  • I'd consider Emmaline. Kate is too common, but as a middle name I'd consider it because I have so many friends named Katie, Arabella is pretty but mms I don't care for any of the boy names
"I said what I meant and I meant what I said, an elephant's faithful 100%" Dr. Seuss, Horton Hatches The Egg. My Ovulation Chart Ttc buddies with LexiMS!
  • I love Kate. Simple, classic and works for all ages.
    Arabella- NMS
Emmeline- pretty. I would consider it for a middle, but I think it would be tricky for people to spell and pronounce. I'm sure many would say it like -line instead of -leen.
Slater- No no no. I totally think of Saved By the Bell. Even without that association I don't think it is a nice sound.
Conor- I really like this name. Wish it worked with our last name. I would probably spell it Connor.
    Lucien- NMS

I could hold you for a million years
To make you feel my love.
  • Kate - cute as a nn for Katherine but I wouldn't use it, at least as a fn.

    Arabella/emmeline - Pretty, but NMS.

All the boy names are NMS.

  • Kate - It's a nn, not a given name. Also, my little sister's name is Catherine, so we wouldn't use any variations of that
Arabella - beautiful name, but again has the problematic "-a" ending with our last name (not to mention with all the Twihards out there I'd HATE for my kid to end up being called Bella ::gag::)
Emmeline - Another beautiful name, but I'd prefer just Emme (which DH isn't really a fan of)
Slater - Even without the SBtB reference, this would be a no. Not a fan of "occupational" first names
Conor - DH's nephew is named Connor, so nope.
Lucien - This just sounds pretentious.

Kate: I like this name and think it's adorable on a little girl. It is the name of one of my SILs, however, so it won't ever get used for us.

Arabella and Emmeline are not my style.

I like Connor, but not Conor. Lucien and Slater are no for me.
