Almost There....

Since I am taking off Friday this Thursday in my book. I have a ton of meetings today. Hopefully I get one package reviewed as well. Other than that I have about 50 things to do when I get home. Pack being the main one. I am starting to get excited about seeing my sister and my parents too!

Aggie: My headaches seem to be getting better but they are still frequent. I am not sure what the deal is but hopefully I figure it out soon. The 2-3 migraines a week thing is getting old! On another more happier note, I saw the photos on facebook and they look amazing. It looks like you guys had a lot of fun!

JLQ: Hope school is going well. I know you had a lot of stuff do this week or next!

Re: Almost There....

  • Oh lucky duck! It's 3 probably long days for me. I am just hoping I get out at a reasonable time tomorrow so I can go to church. DH is in a reenactment of the last supper (you should see his dad beard ha!)

Degrea I am sorry you are still struggling with headaches. I am hoping you can get then under control.

    boo headches!

    i know ive missed lots.

is friday not a stat holiday for you peeps? today is my Thursday too
  • Friday isn't a holiday at my company. It is at my H. I think it depends on the company. It is a bank holiday though.

  • Nope not a federal holiday because it is a religious holiday.

  • Interesting. It's still a federal holiday here. Easter Monday is just for banks and government workers I think. I conveniently have included them in my contracts as days I am off with pay! Yeah for a 4 day weekend!!
  • Easter Monday is sort of a holiday in Buffalo, a drinking holiday! Dyngus Day!! Think Polish St.Pat's Day. I wil be on my way back from CT though and not partaking in it this year. Maybe next year.

  • My work does not recognize Easter as a holiday, because it's a religious one. Which is funny, since I work at a Catholic-based hospital. I have Friday and Monday off classes for "April break", because they can't call it Easter break, either. DH has off tomorrow and Friday. He would have had Monday, but it's a snow make up day now.
Tomorrow we're going to have lunch with his mom then hang out with her for a bit. It should be nice. We haven't seen her in a while, and we won't get to see anyone for Easter because I work Saturday night. I haven't seen anyone in my family since Christmas, which really depresses me.
I applied for a bunch of new jobs. I hate my current job. I'm constantly getting screwed over and I just can't do it. I got an interview for a home care for seniors place for Friday, so hoping that will work out. Home health is always iffy because of having no set schedules or hours, but I can always stay on payroll at my current job and just work a few days there to fill in gaps. I really liked when I did home health before, until they stopped giving me hours.

School is very busy. It's almost the end of the semester, so people are just piling crap on. I'm not too busy next week with school work, thank goodness.

    Echo - Hiii!!!

Aggie - Post a pic of his beard so we all can see it!!

Degrea - Have fun on your trip!!
