Re: CPW: How often do you wash your hair?

  • A majority of the time it's every day because of the amount of goop I have to use to keep my hair from not looking like I stuck my finger in an electrical socket. Every once in a while I'll go an extra day, but it's so yucky when I do wash it.

    TTC #1: Mirena removed 5/26/2015; DH - normal SA, me - diagnosed with PCOS 8/4/2016 - on Metformin;
    BFP - 10/29/2016!!!, EDD - 7/8/2017
  • My hair is curly and dries out easily so I only wash it once a week, unless I straighten it. That gives me one good/down hair day a week; the rest of the time it's piled on top of my head.

  • I do every other day.  Sometimes I push it a third day, but it isn't pretty.  I have fine, straight hair.

  • I used to do every other day, but ever since I cut my hair short, I have to do it every day (at least on work days). Not sure why. My hair is very fine/thin and blonde so it shows everything. On the weekends, I can get away with skipping a day if I use some Lulu Organics hair powder. That stuff is awesome.

    I REALLY want to get back to washing with just baking soda and apple cider vinegar, but I need a good week or more off work to get through the really bad part. When I was doing that before, I could easily go 3-4 days, which is a MIRACLE considering my hair type

    In Christ alone my hope is found. He is my LIGHT, my STRENGTH, and my SONG!

    T-TTC since Dec 2008. PCOS/nonexistant cycles(anovulation) and endo. HSG in '10 revealed both tubes blocked. Lap surgery in Dec '10 to correct. Failed Clomid/IUI and injectable(Bravelle)/IUI cycles so far.

  • Every other day for me, unless I do something that makes me sweaty.

  • If I wear my hair curly, I have to wash everyday otherwise it looks stringy and flat. If I straighten it, then I only wash it very 2-3 days because it's such a PIA to do.

    I wash my bangs every day because they tend to get oily looking, but the whole shebang is every other day.

  • I wash my hair like every other day when I am working days. I wear my hair up at work, so when I am working lunches all day, I may go a few. If I am not, I do it every day.. I have straight fine hair, so if I am wearing it down, it seems to get a lil greasy, so I hate it feeling dirty...

  • I alternate between every day and every other day.  If I do it every other day, I put my hair up though because it gets gross.

    THIS. The only way I can get away with washing it at night is if I am putting it in a braid or sock buns and taking it out in the morning once it is dry.
