What are some must-haves for our carry on (besides some entertainment for the kids)? I have heard that you cannot take any snacks into the airport now...is that true? If so...ugh. And how about things that we'll need for when we go to the parks? Of course I've thought of sunscreen, sunglasses...but I'm at a loss as to what else we might need. B is still in diapers, so we've got to take a diaper bag. But, I don't want to fill with things that we won't need. We are staying at the Contemporary, so it won't be too difficult to get back to our room, and we plan on going back to the room each afternoon just for some down time and to break up the exciting day. We have the Disney meal plan and the park hopper. Can you give me some tips? We haven't traveled with both kids ever really, and P was so young the last time we traveled with him, so we're newbies to this. TIA!
Re: Help me pack for Disney
For the flight, I brought a coloring book and small pack of crayons for each boy, books, and leap pads. They were surprisingly angelic on the flights (I was nervous, we hadn't flown with them before)
As far as things to pack for the parks, I brought ponchos and glow sticks every day. We lucked out and had no rain, so we didn't end up using the ponchos, but they were small so it was no big deal to toss them in our bag every day. And the kids loved having the glo sticks at night, and it saved me from hearing them beg for the overpriced ones that are sold there

At Disney we had a backpack. Always brought our own water bottles, sunscreen, change of clothes for dd, camera. I also brought treat type snacks to give her if we had to wait in long lines. Pez was a good reward and had fruit snacks
Does anyone know if you can take the baby food in pouches through security? Or baby food in general? I know the rules about formula/breast milk, but I don't think I've ever seen anything about the purees
