Does anyone else a fitness tracker like fitbit, garmin or jawbone? I've been wanting one for a while, but want to hear others opinions before pulling the trigger since they are so expensive. I think I'm leaning towards jawbone since it can track stairs and elevation, but I've heard good things about fitbit too.

I use My Fitness Pal to input my food and exercise and it automatically syncs with my Fitbit. That is a huge plus for me. It does take a little time to explore all the settings and decide which is best for you though. My first day calorie burned seemed waaay too high but that was before I adjusted everything.
My favorite part about the Fitbit is that is motivates me to keep moving and to try to hit my goals everyday. I'm hoping to see an increase in my weight loss this week but I won't know until Saturday morning since that is my weigh in day.
Obviously, I'm biased towards the Fitbit, lol...but I don't have any experience with the others. I know they all have their benefits though! I looked into the Jawbone Up, the Fitbit, and Nike Fuel Band before deciding.

I really liked the look of the Flex. It has quite a few colors to choose from for the band color and you can switch your flex between bands whenever you choose. It looked more comfortable to me than the Jawbone, as well. And for something you will be wearing 24/7, comfort is important. I also really liked the fact that I could see my progress for whichever goal I choose on the band itself in the form of a graduated light display. The Flex also wirelessly syncs with my phone using bluetooth and my pc using a little dongle that you plug into your pc's usb port. It seemed to me to be the best value for the $100 I was spending.
I think the biggest downside to the Jawbone is that if you want wireless syncing to your phone, you have to go with the Jawbone Up-24. The Up-24 is $150 versus the Up, which is normally $130. The way I understand it, you have to plug your Up into your phone if you want your most recent data.
