If you celebrate Easter, what are your plans for the weekend? Or what are your general weekend plans?
Re: Easter/weekend Plans?
Saturday- Packing for Florida, leaving in a week! Running some errands
Sunday- My parents are cooking for the family, so it will be a small gathering with 10-11 people
Tomorrow; I'm taking DD and my niece to go see the Easter bunny and do Easter crafts. DH, DD, and I plus a friend of ours are going to the movies to go watch Captain America.
Sunday we're going out to lunch with some friends at a Brazilian restaurant nearby. DH and I aren't religious so that's about the extent of our plans for Easter. Well, that and watching Game of Thrones that night.
Today: Off at noon, running a whole bunch of errands, Good Friday church service, then going for a car ride now that H has the toy car put back together. :-)
Tomorrow: Run with the sun (a group of us do a 4 mile run with the sunrise on Saturdays), getting a truck load of mulch and finishing up the side landscaping, and prepping food. Possibly going to a friends house 2 hours away to hang out for the night.
Sunday: 6am Easter service, then we're hosting lunch. So far there's 26 people RSVP'd.

Tonight - unsure since not sure what time DH will come from Golf Range
Saturday - We're both volunteering at a local canoe & kayak race....brrr. High for tomorrow is only 51 and we won't even guess how cold water temps are (Northern Ohio) but they do the race this early in the season because it's the best water levels. Then afterwards going home to do laundry & some grocery shopping
Sunday - Family dinner at sister's house. They prepare meat & potato & the rest of us take care of everything else. This way not one person gets stuck with all the work & costs.
Saturday: Easter egg hunt, road trip - family time with my family, including dinner.
Sunday: Easter service at 9am with my family. After that we'll drive to dh family for lunch. Hoping the kiddos will nap on the two hour road trip back home.
Yesterday, we took another impromptu trip to purchase a new car for DH--not planned, but we got out from the negative equity on our other vehicle, so it worked out very well for us. I also had to stop to exchange a birthday gift from my mother at the only mall within 100 miles that has that particular store, so we took care of that while we were down there, too. We also enjoyed a quick dinner at Piada and ice cream from my favorite spot.
Today, we are home and I will probably go to church tonight. Tomorrow, we will head up to the lake for Easter brunch at a winery with my family.
It's been a very nice birthday/Easter weekend.
A little late to the party, but my DH and I left for Gulf Shores, AL this last Thursday and came back on Sunday. The weather was a bit lame on Friday, but we had an awesome beachfront condo and just soaked up the view. Then Saturday was hot and gorgeous. It was a LONG day at work today after the great 3-day weekend, lol.
We used to go to the Gulf Coast a couple times a year. But that was before I bought a house and we started planning for a wedding! It's was so nice, now that we are back on a bit of an even keel, to get back out there.
