So I sort of over estimated my take home with no overtime, but finally have a pay check that has barely any over time on it, and it is about $60 short of what I estimated $840 instead of $900. I know this is going to tighten things up a ton, but I want to try to budget on $1600 instead of $1800, and maybe not be in as much of a push to be debt free. My goal is still 3 years, but I am not going to have control it my life. I have 2 paychecks a year that will be going specifically towards debt pay off as well as my tax returns. My current tax withholding is single 0, so it will not change once the divorce is final. I plan on shopping at PriceRite, and being budget smart about shopping.
Edited for grammar.
Re: Pay Day
We're not putting every last penny to our debt, either. It doesn't work for us. But, we have a plan and have stopped building new debt (for 6 months now!) which I'm glad of.
