You studied abroad in law school? Jealous! My law school didn't offer anything fun like that

What class did you take over there? Did your school have a satellite campus in London or were you an "exchange" student for 5 weeks at another university?
Re: @SusieBW
The London program was a week or two of classes taught by barristers at the Inns of Court (which are LOVELY, by the way), followed by an apprenticeship with a judge, barrister or solicitor. I was paired with a judge, and he was awesome. The classes were mostly about the basics of the British legal system, how their legal education works, etc. In Portugal, we took a couple of different international law mini-classes taught by professors from all over the world, and the program was about 45 students from all over the world (I think the various law schools that participated in the program each sent a professor to teach). That was run through Catholic University in Lisbon.
Where did you go to law school?

I'm really surprised that AU doesn't have any study abroad opportunities! It's such a big school (undergrad, anyway, I really don't know much about the law school), I would think they would've had lots of stuff like that!
I went to Roger Williams in Bristol, RI, which is itty bitty by comparison. Maybe the Europe programs were part of their way to attract students. I think now they have added a maritime apprenticeship to the London program, because they're trying harder to be more of a maritime law school. I did a joint degree program while I was there, so at the same time as I was getting my law degree, I was also working on my masters in marine affairs through URI. I turned in my thesis the day after I took two bar exams - best summer of my life! ( /sarcasm )
