2+ years, maybe forever

Condoms

3. How do you feel about TTA?

Good.

Worm. Eww.

The pink sounds kind of fun, but I suppose if I had my hand stuck in a jar, that would make a funny story. I think the hand.

Clown. But I don't think I would be a very brave clown.

7. Are you doing anything to get ready to TTC?

Not really. We don't have a TTC timeline.

8. What is your favorite salad dressing?

I like ranch in general. I also like miso dressing.

9. How many kids do you want? How far apart (if you could pick)?

I think 2 kids, 3 or 4 years apart. But I don't know.

10. When/how would you announce your pregnancy?

I LOVE surprises, so it would be a surprise of some sort. Probably depends on the time of year as to what I would do.

11. What is your dream job?

I like my job now. I suppose my dream would be to be super talented at something, be a painter or a singer or a piano player and get to do that... but I am not super talented like that.

12. If you were given a million dollars and there were no strings attached, what would you do with it?

Pay off our house. Put aside for retirement. Let DH be a SAHD.

13. If you could live anywhere, where would it be and why?

I really like Seattle (where I live). It is a great place to live and my family is here.

14. If you could have any animal for a pet, what would it be and why?

I love my fur babies. I think dogs were meant to be pets and happiest living with humans. I wouldn't want an exotic pet.

15. If you had three wishes, what would you wish for (no wishing for more wishes)?

Happiness, health, and long lives for myself and family.

16. What is your favorite quick and easy meal?

I think everything I make is quick and easy! Grilled cheese and tomato soup.

17. What is your favorite musical?

I don't think I can pick one. I have so many. My Fair Lady, Mame, Fiddler on the Roof, Rent, Phantom of the Opera... I can't pick one.

18. What is your favorite ride at an amusement park?

I had to think a long time about this. I am going with the Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland.

3. How do you feel about TTA? I'm ok with it this week.

7. Are you doing anything to get ready to TTC? We're paying off some debt and saving money. I'm also getting into the habit of taking my BBT daily.

8. What is your favorite salad dressing? Girard's Light Champagne

9. How many kids do you want? How far apart (if you could pick)? I have always wanted 3 and back in my younger 20's, they would have been 3-4 years apart. Now (since I'm much older), I'd be happy if I had one...if I had more than that, I'd be happy with 18 months apart.

10. When/how would you announce your pregnancy? You guys would probably know pretty quickly, but I would try and wait to announce it to the world until I was close to the end of the 1st trimester. I wouldn't tell my family until maybe a week before the world knows because they seem to become physically ill if they can't post something on FB. It would probably be something with our dog in it...like he's about to become a vacuum cleaner or something like that.

11. What is your dream job? Astronomer.

12. If you were given a million dollars and there were no strings attached, what would you do with it? Pay off all debt and then do a heck of a lot of traveling (after taxes, of course).

13. If you could live anywhere, where would it be and why? I loved Oregon and Washington, so probably somewhere in the NW.

14. If you could have any animal for a pet, what would it be and why? A polar bear because I love them.

15. If you had three wishes, what would you wish for (no wishing for more wishes)? Hahaha...Aladdin. Anyway, probably money, a much faster metabolism, and a chance to see my great-grandmother again.

16. What is your favorite quick and easy meal? Leftovers. Haha...probably stir-fry.

17. What is your favorite musical? The Music Man

18. What is your favorite ride at an amusement park? None. I'm not a roller coaster type of person.

19. Any questions for next time? Dream vacation? What are three things you use daily you can't live without?

Guess I should probably just move over here for now instead of raiding the 3T check-in with my TTA post.

1. How long do you plan to TTA? No clue. We're taking it one day at a time, but we won't move forward with the RE until we're debt free.

2. What methods are you using to TTA? NFP/condoms/pullout. Yes, we understand pullout isn't 100%, and we're okay with that.

3. How do you feel about TTA? Today, not very happy about it but I know it's what we need to do for now and I can't handle another loss right now.

4. Would you rather eat a dead rat or a live worm? Live worm.

5. Would you rather dye your hair pink or get your hand stuck in a jar? Pink hair.

6. Would you rather be the clown who distracts the bull or the cowboy who rides the bull? Ride the bull.

7. Are you doing anything to get ready to TTC? Paying off debt and getting ourselves in a better financial state. I can't wait until we get a BFP and I can go out and buy that expensive ass jogging stroller and not worry about saving up for months for it.

8. What is your favorite salad dressing? Blue cheese.

9. How many kids do you want? How far apart (if you could pick)? We've agreed on 2, but we'll re-evaluate after 2. I would honestly like 4, but we'll see.
I want them close together and we've said we likely won't prevent after the first one is born. But that can always change. H and his brother are 3 years apart and H thinks that's perfect.

10. When/how would you announce your pregnancy? We will announce to parents/siblings within the first few weeks again. We couldn't have gotten through the loss last time without their support. Not sure when we'll go "public" with it. I would prefer to wait till at least 20 weeks before putting it on FB.
Not sure how we'll annouce this time around. As skeptical as I am of a loss, I would probably just flat out tell our families this time instead of making it a cute thing.

11. What is your dream job? Professional traveler.

12. If you were given a million dollars and there were no strings attached, what would you do with it? Pay off debt, buy a vacation home at the lake, travel some, and invest half of it.

13. If you could live anywhere, where would it be and why? England. The culture and way of life is right up my alley.

14. If you could have any animal for a pet, what would it be and why? Definitely a giraffe.

15. If you had three wishes, what would you wish for (no wishing for more wishes)? Endless amount of money, to be perfectly healthy, and to be able to visit heaven.

I hate it today! I'm so ready to try again. I'm only waiting for one more AF by the advice of my ob. I bought two sexy outfits for TTC and can't wait to break them in

I've already had pink hair...

I'll ride the bull. I use to ride horse and had to handle an angry one once, I think I could make it half a minute

Buying sexy things! Also taking prenatal vitamins and I've been going for a walk every day because I want to keep walking while pregnant to make sure I'm getting some activity.

Tangy tomato

9. How many kids do you want? How far apart (if you could pick)?

1-3, I haven't decided yet. I would like them to be 3-5 years apart.

10. When/how would you announce your pregnancy?

We are getting timers that say " ____ Days Till Grandbaby" on them and leaving them somewhere only our moms will find them and waiting for them to call us.

Everyone once, haven't decided I use facebook to talk with a lot of family so I will at some point put something up there, but I don't know when or what. We're going to do a sex reveal cake and I think I may post a video or photo of that to be my "facebook reveal"

11. What is your dream job?

SAHM or I would love to be a painter, but I have no artistic skills, I admire people who do

Pay off bills and build a house, nothing fancy

Tennessee. we went on a vacation there last summer and it was beautiful and people were so sweet.

I want a unicorn!

DH & I get to a healthy weight. Build a nice house. Jobs that make us both happy and make a good amount of money.

Why would you ask me this question? How am I seriously suppose to answer this? And are we talking musical I've seen (professional or community theater), or musical made into a movie? This question has way too much to it for me to answer, I love musicals way too much!

1. How long do you plan to TTA? Until summer 2018, at least.

2. What methods are you using to TTA? BCP

3. How do you feel about TTA? Fine, usually. I have moments where I hate it, but we made this choice so we could both reach professional goals that we have, and I'm okay with that.

4. Would you rather eat a dead rat or a live worm? Live worm.

5. Would you rather dye your hair pink or get your hand stuck in a jar? My hair has been pink! And blue and purple. I have a big thing coming up, and if it goes well I'm going back to blue.

7. Are you doing anything to get ready to TTC? Nope.

11. What is your dream job? Aside from the job I have (heritage sector), I'd love to be able to support us with my crafting.

13. If you could live anywhere, where would it be and why? I don't know. We've done the 'pick up and move 3000 miles away' thing, and it's hard. I'd be happy with anywhere that has easy access to both of our families.

-Until Spring 2015! Finally decided on a TTC date.

2. What methods are you using to TTA?
-Condoms

3. How do you feel about TTA?
-Good, focusing on completing some goals before next spring, like getting in shape and paying off some debt.

-Live worm, but yuck!

-First pregnancy I announced right away, next time I am waiting until either first ultrasound or 12 weeks. I'll probably come up with something creative that includes my daughter.

-Teacher or Marine Biologist

-Pay off all debt, buy a nice home, buy DHs dream truck and go on a really nice vacation. Put the rest in savings and/or invest.

-New Zealand or Italy. Beautiful and very cultural.

-Fox, they are so cute.

2. What methods are you using to TTA? Diaphragm. Had my IUD removed this week b/c it made me feel crappy.

3. How do you feel about TTA? Pretty good most days. Sometimes I'm sad to be "missing out" on pg but overall I am confident in our decision to adopt.

4. Would you rather eat a dead rat or a live worm? Worm!

5. Would you rather dye your hair pink or get your hand stuck in a jar? I'd pick the jar b/c I had an allergic reaction to hair dye once and it was soooo miserable.

Thank you for saying this. It makes me feel so much better and not alone in my feelings. ((hugs)) to you. I think most people around me who know about our decision to move forward with adoption are surprised that I still react negatively to pregnancy announcements or that I still cry (a lot) about our loss. I don't think it means we (mostly I) aren't ready to move forward with adoption, but I think it just means I am sad that the future I dreamed for us won't happen the way I thought it would. (And damn, it's only been a month...let me grieve!)

I've always wanted a lot- 4 maybe, but I think most likely we'll have 2., I'd like them to be close in age, 18mos-2yrs apart.

To my dad and stepmom I would tell them probably as soon as it was confirmed by a dr. It would have to be over the phone since they are so far away. I will call my dad and ask if he wants to be called grandpa or papa.

Coworkers would know fairly early I think, and my friends would clue in when I opt not to drink when we're out (we do pub trivia each week)

To the general public, on FB I might think of something cute, but I might just post a U/S photo, and I would try to wait til end of first tri.

11. What is your dream job?

anything with kids. If teaching wasn't such a gong show with all the APPR and Common Core crap right now I'd jump back into it, but for now I really love working with the babies at daycare. And most likely after we have kids I'll do home daycare.

12. If you were given a million dollars and there were no strings attached, what would you do with it?

Pay off debts- our credit cards and mortgage, MIL's medical bills. Move MIL to a place closer to us. Go on vacation. Give $ to my siblings for their debts.

13. If you could live anywhere, where would it be and why?

Somewhere closer to my family- but for now, I like it here in upstate NY

14. If you could have any animal for a pet, what would it be and why?

I've always wanted a dog. Either a chocolate lab or a pit bull. Both of those breeds are probably not right for us (especially with planning on babies soon). but we are planning to get a dog from a shelter sometime in the summer.

For MIL to make a miraculous recovery.

For DH and I to both get healthy and fit super easily

For my family to be happy and healthy.

Sorry, I'm days late to the party, but I enjoyed reading the other responses, so I though I'd still add mine now that I have the time!

1. How long do you plan to TTA? A year. ish.

2. What methods are you using to TTA? FAM/charting

3. How do you feel about TTA? Not so great lately. I'm tempted to say 'F it,' but I'm a planner and really don't feel like we have things together enough yet.

15. If you had three wishes, what would you wish for (no wishing for more wishes)? $100M (unlimited sounds nice, but I think it would bring extra problems I wouldn't want to deal with), perfect health for my family, and jobs for DH and I that we love.
