QOD 4/21

You find 5 dollars in your pocket? How do you spend it?

Re: QOD 4/21

  • Funny story- H was at the gas station the other day to grab a fountain drink and some guy randomly gave him $5. He bought lottery tickets.

If I found $5, I would probably put it in my wallet and forget about it until H needed money for lunch or I had a sugar craving at work.

  • I been trying to put any "extra" money I may find in our vk fund.

  • I actually found $5 in H's pants the other day while doing laundry. I stuck it in my wallet. Then when H and I are out and want to get something to drink or if we go out to eat I have money for tip.
  • I'd put it in our change jar.

  • I usually just stick in the the cash envelope that we keep on hand at the house if we decide to order out or indulge in the ice cream truck.

  • It'd just go in my wallet and get spent at some point, when I remembered I had cash. I never have cash so I often forget when I have some in my wallet.

for me, cash is a good way to save money, since then all the change goes into the piggy bank and if I have a limited amount of cash I'm more cautious about spending it. I really should use cash more often....

  • Put it in our cruisin fund! H and I put extra change and dollars into a pop bottle to save up for a cruise. Well, we aren't going on a cruise, but now we have an extra $150 of spending money for our anniversary vacation B-)
