Fitness Post

How is everyone doing? 

I had my first decent week in a long time last week and did 3 days of running.  I did two 3 mile runs and one 5 miler.  Actually, I am probably doing more walking than running, but I am getting the mileage in, so I'll take it.  Once I get back to sticking to my 3 runs a week, I hope to add other stuff to my routine.  I am having a hard time getting out of this rut!

    I'm trying to fit in a few trips to the gym this week in preparation for my 5k on Sunday. I know I've prepped for this one MUCH more than the one I ran last year but I'm still nervous!
  • I did Zumba a couple days, got in a couple runs and elliptical. I think my allergies are really bothering me though and Ian exhausted. My run Saturday and last night felt like they were killing me! Glad to have some nice days for running though.

    It's been about a year since I started running. I just passed 200 miles on my nike app over the weekend. I took most of the winter off but feels good to see my total and how far I've come!

  • I got in my 8+ miler on Sunday (yes, I skipped church on Easter to do it) and may not die at the half marathon in 12 days.  Woooo!

  • I made dd sit in the stroller so that I could push her up and down all the hills in the neighborhood yesterday for exercise purposes.  That's got to count for something right?
