I say it's time to write down all the income/expenses/trip costs/baby costs and see where the chips fall.

We will have to see. J is finally talking about starting the mutual fund for retirement. So I don't want to rock the boat on that. Also, no idea on what a baby needs. So I guess I have to get to researching.

I'm sure the ladies on here could help with the baby costs....:) As for the retirement, definitely don't want to derail that one. Either way, doesn't hurt to do the math....:)

I was out doing yard work in short sleeves and shorts (I'll spare you all the picture) and ended up with a slight sunburn. Since Monday I've been going to work in layers with hats and gloves....not getting better until Monday.

Hopefully they give you a dating ultrasound so you can see the little bean! I will be happy to share what stuff has been amazing for us and what stuff has been a waste of money. When doing my registry I got the book Baby Bargins and used that to figure out what we wanted. Honestly I think that book is the reason we didn't end up with a ton of stuff that we didn't need.

Call your insurance. They should be helpful in directing you towards an in-network doctor. And I believe the first appointment depends on the doctor's office. Some want to see you sooner, but most schedule you sometime at 8-10 weeks. When you call to make an appointment, they should tell you when they want to schedule you and the office's protocol

Jean is right. All doctors have different want to see you dates. Id call as soon as you have officially missed your period. Its likely the earliest they will see you is about 6wks. Thats the earliest they can see a heartbeat on an ultrasound.
