Well maybe a little MM related.
I stopped dying my hair to save money. Now I have gray hairs, not a lot, but enough that they're noticible. I'm almost 27 and graying...I must have gotten my dad's genes
I'm a little sad ;(

Store box color sets & coupons can make it affordable. Not as fun as being pampered when someone in a salon does it for you, but still does the job.
I get my hair cut and highlighted for $75 bucks at Family Hair cut. It's one of those chain places and I love the job they do!
I used to get them both done at a salon for probably over $150 and I will never go back to paying that. I get my hair trimmed ($16) every 3 months, and highlights every 5-6 months.
Maybe you should try to find someplace cheaper or just get a highlight instead of the dye job...everything may blend in nicely

I also recommend a hair school if one is at all nearby. I have an Aveda school near me. So Lucky! My dark blond/light brown hair is difficult to get lighter because, although I have no red hair, my hair tends to turn red when it is dyed. I paid big bucks at a salon who did a HORRIBLE job. Then I discovered the Aveda school and my hair comes out perfect every time I go. For about $55. And I have very long hair, which a lot of salons charge extra for, but Aveda doesn't.
Sorry to sound like an Aveda commercial, lol. I just love them so.
